The locker room doesn’t have an Aikman, Haley or Jimmy Johnson. Those guys were skull crushers and demanded the best from their teammates. Belichik had Brady and once he left, the current player attitude wasn’t going play hard for a demanding and grouchy head coach.

This may be the best thing for Dallas long term. Mike and Dak needed to be gone last offseason. Something has to wake Jerry up.

We say this year after year and nothing changes. We put band-aids over serious gashes and keep the ball rolling next year.

But I agree both need to be done. Dak will never be better than he is right now. You don't improve after year 8, you are what you are. Mike isn't a good coach and Rodgers covered up all his warts like Romo did Garrett to a lesser degree.

You might as well see what you have in Trey Lance at this point.
