Let’s face it Jackson and the Ravens have a spiffy record every year they make the playoffs then it’s James Dean driving too fast uh oh …

It’s like the “ Here we go “ Song being sung in Dallas every weekend . Come Jan football and the tree falls in the forest . I’m not sure Jackson takes this Baltimore crew over the top in years to come . A guy like Mahomes with let’s face it other than Kelce his weapons are average but he’s Mahomes and they “ just win baby “ .

Losing in the Conference Championship to the defending champions is quite different than being blown out in the Wild Card Round against the 7th seed.

We should be so lucky.

Now the defense in Balt held KC to 17 . Any kind of offense at all Balt is SB bound . I noticed the Balt DC got a HC job .

Another thing about the AFCCG they didn’t discover Odell Beckham was on the rosier until the 4th quarter .

He is right about one thing. You can count on the Ravens crapping the bed in the playoffs. They got to the Conf. Championship game largely due to being the number 1 seed.

They beat the Texans at home and their defense gave up a total of 27 points in 2 games. Let’s not pretend their post season was again anything but a disappointment. Jackson is just horrible in the post season. horrible. criticize Dak if you want, because he crashed and burned again also, but Jackson’s post season performance has been worse.

Ironically, Dallas would have considered an appearance in the conference title game a monumental step forward. Why are we talking about Baltimore?

I think because Baltimore crashes and burns just like the Cowboys do. Getting to the championship game is not the same for every team every season. The Eagles just had to beat a crap Giants team. The ravens a Houston team that wasn't very good. The last two times the Cowboys were the #1 seed they didn't get the luxury of playing a trash team. We got the Giants, that ended up winning the SB, and the Packers who were a very good team.

You see when you get the #1 seed you get the luxury of having the easiest path to the Championship game: A bye, and then a home game against the worst team. We had that possibility as well to be the #1 seed but couldn't win on the road. So there's no excuses about who we had to face. Also the Texans were not a bad team by any means they were about as good as the Packers, they destroyed a red hot Browns team that most people thought would beat the Texans. If we were that team we would have beaten the Packers easily but we were frauds as we always are come playoff time.

You realize you can criticize both Dak and Lamar you don't have to pick one? Dak is 2-5 in the playoffs Lamar is 2-4. Stop using Lamar to prop up Dak who also sucks in the playoffs.

I can't argue your point. But the most relevant thing you said was that we were frauds. I think the Packers were better than Houston, they should have beaten the 49ers. But either way, it was close.

Well, the last two times we were the number 1 seed we played contenders. We didn't have an easy game. But after that show against GB, I can't even use that excuse anymore.
I don't think the Giants were contenders when we played them although they did go on to win the SB. The last 2 playoff games though we don't even show up. What's the point of getting seeding and getting HFA if you let a team come into your house and destroy you?

I've also heard a lot of the talking heads say that Lamar is a sure fire HOF'er if he win's this years MVP award. Does anyone agree with that?

Packers were the 7th seed and entered with the leagues 25th ranked defense. That game was the definition of crash and burn. The Ravens lose close battles where they are actually in the game until the very end. It’s not going to get easier if thats what you’re hoping. Ravens just can’t beat Mahomes.

I'm a bit of Jackson fan... however....
So far in his career, it has not really been debatable that Lamar has (on average) been pretty bad in the playoffs.

Forget the poor team playoff record....wins/losses aren't a true QB stat.
But his personal play as a QB has been subpar.

Lamar Jackson: 6 Playoff Games in 6 years
  • 9 Total TDs
  • 9 Total Turnovers
  • 0 Differential
  • 75.7 Passer Rating
  • Team record is 2-4

People give Josh Allen a hard time, which is insane given how well he has played

Josh Allen : 10 Playoff games in 5 years
  • 26 Total TDs
  • 6 Total Turnovers
  • +20 Differential (insane)
  • 100.0 QB Rating
  • Team Record is 5-5

Did you even read my post? I did criticize Dak and I didn’t prop him up. What the hell are you talking about? Lamar has been absolutely horrible in the playoffs and I’m not the one to bring the Cowboys into the topic, The person I quoted did.
