This is why you let your agent handle everything and ignore anything the "they" brigade have to say and go about your business even if it includes holding out, etc. I don't remember Zeke making much of a deal out of things during his contract even through the "Zeke Who?" statements, etc. His agent gave perfect advice and it paid off for him. Players get emotional about the process that involves PR and all kinds of business things when in the end it'll either be a yes, no, or compromise. That's the "so tough" part from the players' side when maybe they romanticize how the process should be versus the actuality.
