Don’t forget the rookie offensive lineman that were sold as fixes to the running game……. Before taking a single snap in the NFL

I like Guyton and Beebe but selling them as saviors of the running game in their rookie season was always dumb.

The running game has been trash for a few seasons now.

And just think.... as much a our quarterback gets ridiculed, he remained in the top 10, became All Pro and a MVP candidate WITHOUT a functioning running game.....

How many non elite quarterbacks can do that with pretty much a one dimensional offense like Dak did?

Saints had 190 yards running. Cowboys 68.

Play calling too, screen pass to Zeke like he is 22 years old again. You just can't make this stuff up, horrible contracts across the board.

It's the averages per carry that tell the real story. Dowdle 4.3 yds/carry, Dak was 2 for 12 yards, Zeke avg 2.7 and Deuce 2.8.

I think Dallas needs to settle on 2 backs and give them all the carries. Try Cook and see what he has, but Deuce is not an NFL RB. The Cowboys just have no talent at RB and this is a going to be a season long problem.
