It isn't about threatening Dak. His contract dictates that he's here until at least 2026. It's about getting the guy live reps and showing film with our starters. If he shows out, being a QB, he'd command a hefty FA contract, meaning a high comp pick. If not, you give him experience, and have the ability to determine whether he's worth developing further.
