he's really proud of the work they're doing, and we've had NO thoughts of adding a RB in 2025 lolOh NO ... Jerry will give the RB group contracts for $10 million each for a year. The standard Pollard contract.
Post or the morningDo we know if these YPC averages are when behind in games? As a stat on it's own, it's meaningless to me, simply because we are down lots in every game we have played of late, and teams are expecting us to pass.
Also, we get into a lot of 3rd and longs, where we have little chance to convert (especially with our QBs and oLine), so we just run it to get 7 yds of field position and then punt.Do we know if these YPC averages are when behind in games? Don't let stats be ur master. Let ur EYES tell u what to think
Do your eyes, in game, lead you to believe we have a powerful running game?
Mine don't.that said, I think we could have a borderline AVERAGE running game...which shortens the game, and shortens our misery, so I'm all for running every play so we don't have to watch Cooper Dakota Lance throw balls
loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolbut there are 10,000 #21 Elliott jerseys left in the inventory. those have to be sold, so more Zeke it is.
You just depressed me even further as a fan of this mess of an organizationAlso, we get into a lot of 3rd and longs, where we have little chance to convert (especially with our QBs and oLine), so we just run it to get 7 yds of field position and then punt.

As stated in the tweet, this is for the last two games. Philadelphia and Atlanta. The Cowboys didn't lead in either game after the first quarter.Do we know if these YPC averages are when behind in games?
Whoops! I'll fix that:You just depressed me even further as a fan of this mess of an organization
I'll give Rico some credit. He did average 4.4 per carry in this last game when it was clear that our passing game with Rush was not working. Of course, he had a 19-yard carry among his 12, so that skews the average. He averaged 3.0 on his other 11 carries.Rico gets the ball all game long. Numbers might he slightly inflated due to running in passing situations as you said.
More than anything though teams are not respecting our run game and playing coverage. I doubt he's running into many stacked boxes.
We should still be trying to run more to at least keep defenses off balance.
Really so that means all running backs like I seen Derrick Henry for the 1st 25 minutes of a game have under 3 yards per carry and then have an 80 yard run are we gonna discount his 80 yard run because it added to his end result of his yards per carry no we can't nitpick like that you are what you are your yards per carry and yes the last three games he's played well not the last two the one before the buy you know also Pittsburgh so he's at four games guess what this is a Mike McCarthy problem we we had a guy may not be elite he may not be a top echelon but if you used Rico from day one for 15 to 20 carries like they used Kareem hunt over in Andy Reid world in Kansas City you know just get guys off the street don't let him wait they just put him right on the field no practice time they weren't even in the training camp they don't hide them on the practice squad and make excuses are not ready to go Mike McCarthy the head coach and the offensive coordinator and the offensive line coach have been our problem it really hasn't been the names on the back of the jerseys..I'll give Rico some credit.
