Terrible Running Game. Stop blaming the mediocre RB's. They are the least of the problem!

The running scheme, offensive line, and McCarthy deserve 90% of the blame for our terrible running game. The RB’s deserve 10% of the blame( Dowdle 1% and Zek 9%). Dowdle runs very hard and has a little bit of elusiveness. He is dam sure earning his money. He runs into a brick wall on half his runs.

After the GB game I said fire McCarthy and fix the OL and running game. Bad play calling. Bad blocking scheme. The RB's got hit at or behind the OL almost every run. The FO ran it back only making it worse by signing Zeke. The Cowboys could have signed Henry and I'm not sure the running game would be significantly better.

Nah Jerry deserves the majority of the blame. I'm sick of blaming the players, the coaches and anything else. Jerry had a chance to fix the run game. He didn't even call Henry or bring in Aaron Jones or Barkley.

We didn't even draft a RB.

Terrible GM that needs to get fired asap along with McCarthy.

I’m not sure, refresh my memory. Didn’t you just tell me they just fixed the offensive line. With the draft. It’s OK it was a different conversation with different meeting. But yes, the scheme, the playcalling the coaching. I don’t care what anybody says. It starts at the top with Mike

The complete coaching staff should be fired. New HC should have a complete new staff. The moment Jerry starts selecting/keeping staff for the new HC will tell you all you need to know about change that ain't happening.

Rush is awful. But this team was imploding while Dak was under center. No doubt it's coaching too but this team was quitting on Dak.

There were some plays where Dowdle missed the hole. I don't think his vision is all that great. Seems like he runs to where the hole is supposed to be, not where it actually develops.

In his defense, there's not a lot of holes to run through.

Dowdle maybe faster than Zeke (who isn't). but he has no vision. he doesn't run to day light.

I was gonna make a thread about this as well. The rbs look OK to me. As soon as one of them shows any sign of momentum and success, the other guy comes in to start all over. Rinse repeat.
