Dane said after top 2 or so, teams will have these prospects all over the place!

This is a good class, but it really lacks those true blue chip prospects at the top. Dane Bruglar believes Cowboys sweet spot good in that 8 to 14 range. We know the names that are being projected as top 10 picks right now:

QB-Sanders, Ward (Could Milroe rise in the process?)
RB-Jeanty
WR-T-Mac/Burden, Hunter*
OL-Banks, Campbell
DT-Graham
Edge-Carter, Williams, Pierce
LB-Walker
CB-Hunter*, Johnson
S-Starks

That is 15

It's Jeanty. Make peace with it now. Jerry's lazy, he's bitter about not getting Brooks last year, and Jeanty is from Frisco. It's a done deal.

Unless Jerry can't help himsefl and won't stop blabbing about it so that some team leaps one spot ahead of us and takes him.
I see your point. A top ten running back is easy to market. Ya sell the fact the line is young and rebuilding, you sell us on a new coordinator and there’s your 2025 narratives

He looks as him as a money maker, local kid who can sell the merchandise.

I mean I’d have to see the list of teams in the top 10….Jeanty very likely could be taken before Cowboys pick. We saw how high Gibbs went. And Bijan.

I honestly feel they go offensive line and I’m gonna be pissed if they do.

I mean regardless he’s one of the best players in this draft. And one of the safer picks. Cowboys need a home run day one starter who can contribute immediately. I think they can get someone in the 2nd or 3rd round but no reason to get cute.

If Jeanty looks real well in the playoff game and then at the Combine, he is going to go before our pick. Top 5 or close to it.

I'd say that's a good list. Derrick Harmon will probably end up there when it's all said and done... he's playing good football against good teams and looks ready to light it up in the playoffs.

I like almost all of the players on there. The only exceptions are that I really don't like either of the OTs, and I don't like Mykel Williams. You could at least justify a pick for Williams, because no position rewards top-notch athleticism more than DE.

Not the year to take OL, class isn’t good

It just depends who is top 5. I don’t see Jags, Giants, Jets, Raiders, Browns, Panthers picking him….Bears seem like a damn good fit though. But then again you never know Falcons had a good running back and still picked Bijan. Probably wasn’t smart either.

Dane said Williams could go high or even towards the back end of the rd. Agree, Harmon is right in the cusp.

You are telling that to the team that drafted Guyton and Tyler Smith who people felt were fringe first rounders. It works with Tyler so now they think they are the smartest people in the room so I can’t say what they will do.

Watched a Kiper podcast recently, he says the only team that desperately need a rb is the cowboys. Of course another team could take him ahead of us, but cannot see this front office passing on him

If we’re picking in the early teens I’d be down with Harmon unless there’s a blinking red light. Dude looks like a legit 1st round DT and he brings it against the pass and run.
