Saturday Games Thread

Yes, huge disappointment, 5th year in the league, going on only his second playoff appearance and going on his 3rd season in a row where he has 25 or less td passes. That's not a franchise qb
You can say it all you want, but it isn't true.
That dude is a franchise QB.
And now that they have a better defense and line, you are seeing it.

Allen, Jackson, Burrow are above the pack.....after those guys, I doubt any GM would pass Herbert up.

Now has 21 TDs and only 3 ints this year in a conservative offense.

We can just agree to disagree...

Well I guess we just have different definitions of a franchise qb, and conservative offense? He now has 466 pass attempts on the year lol, almost 30 pass attempts a game

NFL watering down its product by spreading these games out on all these random days. Nobody is trying to spend all day Saturday and Sunday watching games….

The last two weeks of every seasons, they been doing this for years.
I love it. Of some fans don’t like it, then they should not watch.

I think they would have done it more. Except they did not want to infringe upon the college games. So they waited until the last 2 weeks.

However now we get a college game about every day of the week. But why don’t fans complain about that?
NCAA now have it where 50 teams are bowl eligible. So not the NFL fault they now play all the bowl games on Saturday as well.

Its safe to say he is a franchise QB as he has been very good and consistent. But it is also pretty clear he will never take that last step up and become elite.

This next game should be good
  • The Bengals have been playing great ball but again dug a big hole, so are hanging on by a thread for playoff hope
  • The Broncos are 9-6 and can sew up a playoff spot with a win in Cincy
I like both ok, but pulling for the Bengals

Later today, I want the Rams to beat the Cards to lock down a division title...but I think most here prefer the Az.

The Pats have so many holes.
If they end up with the 2nd overall pick, they need to trade down a few slots to a team looking for a QB, and get some value, and multiple players.

To the defense of Herbert to a degree.
First I unders want you are saying. However, he had no team around him. Then when they got so,e skill players on offense. They were injured form3 years For the most part. None of the starting WR’s or RB”s played entire seasons, and maybe played 5 fae,s tog.

They had players on defense, but underachieved big time.
This is the first year the team has played like a team. And has been able too.

I think they can get hot and actually beat KC if they meet in they playoffs.

Nobody really says it, but Herbert has been a huge disappointment so far in his career. His best year to date is still his rookie season, his second season was good where he had 38 tds and 15 ints. Yea, he limited his interceptions the last 3 seasons, but his tds have been low too, his 18td passes this season is nothing impressive. He needs to step up
You might want to consider the reason "nobody really says it" is because it's a terrible take.
