Walter Nolan Film Review

There is going to be some very good players available at 12. 2 or 3 qbs will go ahead of us. There will be at least 1 surprise that we don't like go ahead of us. So, 3 to 4 players that we aren't interested in will go which will drop us some outstanding players to chose from. We should get a 1st round graded player.

One of those 1st graded players could be Nolan

PFF had him 2nd round which is impossible . Depending on the board at 12 with the impending loss of OSA I had Dallas taking him round one months ago .

Depends on who’available

One of the talking heads yesterday said there were only 8 to 10 first round grades. Be that as it may, they focused a lot on Nolan Senior Bowl reps yesterday. He was quick off the snap and disruptive. Dont think he is the pick at 12 though. Still think offense. They have to help out the mediocrity they overpaid for at QB first.

Dominating at the Senior Bowl counts for a lot with me, because it takes away so many of the unavoidable "whatabouts" with tape grinding. There's no worries about scheme, or inferior opponents, or studs on your side drawing extra attention, etc. You're facing NFL talent 1-on-1 in NFL coached drills. If you're destroying guys in a mini-NFL controlled environment, you're probably for the real thing.

It'd be fun for someone to actually go back and analyze the hit rate of Senior Bowl heroes, but I'm betting it's high.

I think it depends on what they do with Osa......remember Stephen put him on the high priority list of signings. The way I see it, he is saying they want a high-level player at Osa position. If they can't agree to terms with Osa .......I think they turn to the draft. Remember Osa and Ghothlson (ms) are free agents.

I like him over Jeantry at 12 but would prefer to trade down a couple of spots for him.

The Ed Oliver comps I’ve seen are pretty spot on. Nolan has traits of an elite pass rushing DT for sure. Needs to put everything together in the NFL to reach his full potential, but his ceiling is pro bowl if he can

Why not just have both? Nolan would get a bunch of snaps anyway. It would be like Philadelphia. Jordan Davis doesn't play much on passing downs it's Carter and Williams. Mazi would be Davis in this scenario.
