Saints expected to hire Kellen Moore as HC

No surprise. The Saints have said they are waiting until after the Super Bowl to speak with Kellen about the position. Kellen has said he and Derek Carr go back to 2011 when they played o w another in college.

Doesn't mean it's a winning combination, but they do have a working relation, or some foundation to build on.

I think it's the wrong move for Kellen, but nobody asked me.

I agree. Why leave Philly that has an abundance of offensive weapons. Although maybe Philly will hire another DC to be an OC which worked out well for us.

Jerry might be having nightmares of missing out on Sean Payton and now Kellen Moore to the Saints. Meanwhile, Big Mike gets left out, so back to the barn.

When the Eagles lose they'll blame Kellen for being more focused on the saints job search lol

Irrespective of his credentials...which are far better than many on this forum might recognize...Kellen will be in a no-win situation.

My view:
1. Moore is not a culture changer.
2. He's not an alpha, though he's very good and bright and has excelled as OC.
3. NO is a small market...the type of team the NFL feeds to others as shark chum.

Maybe forces will emerge to clean up the NFL. Until then...low revenue/low attention teams like the Jags, Colts, Cards, Saints and others have a HARD CEILING.

1% chance of success.
