Will Jourdan Lewis bolt in FA?

McClay? He doesn't play in the role in this.

It all comes down to Stephen and how much $$$ will he offer JLew and how seriously he thinks the Cowboys are contenders. I hope he stays. He is a good player and leaving creates another hole to fill. I won't be surprised if he leaves as I can easily see other teams offering more than the Cowboys.

$21m after taxes, expenses etc is not that much after 10 years in the league. It may not be 10 years but he has to be approaching that I would think. I’m sure he is looking for that one last big payday, he would be foolish not to.
 
If I was a FA they would have to money whip me. I would want to get away from this team as soon as possible.

That’s absolutely false.

He has already stated he is happy and Dallas and his family enjoys the area. Lewis is a big family man.

Washington also has Lattimore and Sainristil plays slot and outside.

If it’s comparable money, he’s not leaving Dallas.

Philly could use him the way he is in Dallas as a nickel . The Chiefs seem to like some of our LB’s in the past they can put Lewis to good use plus Philly & KC are tops in the pyramid dominating which is what Lewis said he wants
 
I like JL. Many aspects of his game to be liked and is a positive locker room/in-field presence. Never checked out from the heavy work.

If he gets some good opportunity to contend while getting his cash, away from Jerry's Circus, I'll be happy for him.

I wanna lock up Lewis. Dude has become a savvy dawg. One of our best draft picks ever. He has a champion's mindset and stuff like that is infectious. Early in his career he was immature and a liability at times. But as time has passed, he has grown into a pros pro. We can't afford to let him walk.
 
If he leaves, it will e Detroit or San Fran. Can't rule out Tampa. He hates Philly, so he won't go there. Chiefs could be a possibility. They have a need.
 
I honestly believe what we hear from Parsons and Lewis is likely the same tone inside the locker room among other players. Players spend tons of hours together both personally and professionally. But only a select few are bold enough to speak their mind coz they fear Jerry.
