Good move. Anytime you can get a solid back for 3 million dollars It’s a good move. Williams is a better back then Dowdle too.

There’s no conceivable metric to even begin to make that argument…and I don’t think Rico is all that good.

Williams hurt his knee and has never been the same. Payton was using guys that don’t belong on an NFL roster over Williams towards the end of last year because he was wildly ineffective. Past draft status is the only possible thing you could point to Williams being better than Dowdle.

I looked at a Broncos message board to get a little feel of what they were saying about him signing with Dallas. I only really have two takeaways: Them saying:

1. Never has come all the way back from the knee injury.
2. Looks like Jerry Jones is going "all in" again this year.

Broncos have a solid fan base---but even they are laughing at us.
