TRADED Cowboys trading for Titans LB Kenneth Murray Jr.

Yes,
He is another first round pick that was considered a huge bust by his original team, but went to the Titans last year and had his best year, but they still are letting him go and I’m assuming for not very much. We are getting two guys that are the complete opposite, Sanborn is a try hard limited athlete while Murray is a physical specimen.
But we aren’t giving up a 1st round pick. We are basically trading down spots from the 6th round to the 7th round for a guy that has produced in the NFL. We still get the draft pick. it is just a lower one and if we wanted to move back up it would be cheap even though most players drafted in that area never make it in the NFL.

If a player hasn’t reached his potential after 5 years in the league and was a first-round pick in the draft, I think the odds are pretty good he isn’t going to realize it…but then again the Dallas FO still thinks Dak hasn’t reached his potential as QB after 9 years in the NFL.

If you thought I was disagreeing with you, you’re wrong. I don’t have a problem with the move.

I do t know why people are dumping on this move. This guy was a real stud coming out of OU.

Sometimes a change of scenery really helps a player thrive. Low risk/high reward move. If the Cowboys believe he can play, then they might extend him on the cheap early.

This stuff reeks of the dummy Jones boys working with the “analytics” department. The tinkering of know it alls is unmistakable.

alot of teams are heading that direction in scouting players. baseball has been doing the analytics for about five to ten years now and now the nfl is doing it now.
