T-Mac-most believe he is the only true #1 WR in the class. He is more of a big, old schooled receiver that we used to see throughout the league. No, he isn't a speed type, that consistently separates but rather possesses a huge catch radius and knows how to use his immense size.

Williams-he was used more as a 4i at Georgia, which really didn't showcase his physical abilities. He did play injured for the majority of the season and played his best against Texas, who will have a 1st rd G/T this year in Banks. Stout run defender, but more of a projection as a pass rusher at this juncture. Team who drafts him are banking on his upside potential.

Will Johnson-missed the majority of last season due to turf toe. However, he was a key performer on Michigan's championship run in the prior year. Has legitimate ball skills, ball production. Short arms considering his height and probably won't run prior to the draft due to a hamstring injury. Diggs did the same prior to when he was drafted. Some believe he is a similar prospect to Patrick Surtain.

I think you are going to have to add Hampton, Stewart, and Nolan to that list. I don’t see any difference between those 6 players and Hampton by far would have the greatest impact this season. If the running back class was not so deep, he would be an easy choice. In the end Jerry will make the decision.

I would take neither of those 3 with 12. If they trade back they are options.

Trade 12 pick along with 174 to Denver for 20, 51, and 122

20 - WR one of the top 4
44 - CB one of the top 4
51- RB one of Henderson, Judkins or Johnson
75 - DT one of Walker, Lott or Collins

That's a freaking awesome short list. I think Johnson is a top 3 player in this class, and Tet's pry #5 or 6. It's wild that either one could fall to use.

Williams is rawer than I'd like at 12, but in this draft class, I think he's worth the bet. He's an *** kicker as a run defender, just a dude who looks like a lab experiment designed to destroy blocking TEs, so I don't think he's a complete boom or bust player. But pass rush is where the money's made, and your hopes are really that he develops there.

Id even add Grant. He was one of the first guys they showed interest in

I’d probably have TMac / Johnson as a coin flip on grade and have Williams as my backup plan.

Pretty good target list.

Concern about taking Williams at 12, will he just be a solid LE in this league with average rush abilities?

These 3 have gotten the most attention that I have read/heard about throughout the process. Williams is that trait pick, where the other two have real production on the college level.

I would probably lean T-Mac cause I can find another high-end corner, where I don't think I can at WR. However, Johnson/Diggs/Bland would be an elite group.

Many think Hampton is being valued that high, I just don't see it and I love Hampton as a prospect, reminds me of a healthier less fumbler then Murray.

we really have no idea who the brain trust (sic) is really focusing on. Not yet anyway.

Usually the week of the draft is when the real information drops

The more you read the mocks and draft guides, it sure does look like WR might the bpa at 12 and I hate that. LOL.

I'm OK with any of these guys. Really, the only guy I  want and would be excited about is Jeanty.but that won't happen. This group is talented though.

That is Williams's downside risk for sure. Just not sure if we'll find a cleaner money-five prospect at #12 this year. After the top 8 players or so at all positions, the quality of this class drops off pretty sharply.

At 12, I think we are still in good position before the value drops off.

I like Hampton but he’s a linear athlete. He’s not special and doesn’t warrant a 1st round pick in a loaded class…let alone 12.

Yesterday draft show the consensus was if McMillan was there he would be the pick. FWIW.
