I think it's clear, the Cowboys aren't going OL early in the draft

They will probably still take an OT or OG in the draft.
But it will be on day three.
Or they could just like an UDFA and go that route as it has worked for them before.

But with taking Oline with Two of the first three picks last year. With them signing multiple Oline players, even if they are depth at best, it does seem clear they plan on trotting out Hoffman or whoever among their group can beat him out.
Yeah I'm on board with this. Last year's draft should show everyone what they are going to do with the OL moving forward. Develop Guyton and we are done with high draft picks on the OL.

Lamb is out there by himself, he needs help immediately. I can't remember a time when this team was so bad lately at the skill positions other than Lamb. WR, RB, DL, and CB have to be improved by drafting BPA since our owner is too cheap to fix one of them in free agency.

 Apples and oranges.
Last season was close to being the worst of his career. Many, if not most, posters have posted similar tone. So I'm not sure where the board not calling out Martin is coming from. Besides, you comparing him to "other players" is odd. He's a future first ballot HOFer.......I'm sure you will agree he's going to get the benefit of the doubt every time.
Micah and Tyron are not Hall of Fame players.

Does it matter. He was bad and the Cowboys gave him extension during the last offseason for that crap. I noticed the board will jump on other players and not call out Zack.

Who said anything about Parsons being a HOFer or even Tyron? But if you don't think Tyron Smith is a HOFer, let's stop here. Bottom line is plenty you accused the "board" of giving Martin a pass for a poor season and that's not true. Many posts, myself included, agree with you, he was bad last season.

Cowboys at one time had Fredrick, Smith, Martin and Collins on the Oline. That’s 3 First rounders and Collins should have been a first. Didn’t win a thing. Why because the Defense sucked. How about developing guys instead of spending high rounders on the Oline.
The plan was for Marinelli to turn Jeremy Mincey into Charles Haley.

It’s difficult enough to build a complete roster as it is, but if you’re not going to use free agency it’s impossible. You’re always going to have massive holes to be exploited.

Martin gets a pass that other players don’t and in my opinion his holdout hurt the team. You could see how the offense played early. In 2023.

I wanted to trade him vs the extension. I like Bass at RG too.

They could have developed guys on defense. Don't blame the o-line for that.

If Membo, Simmons, and Campbell are there at 12, the Cowboys have to consider them. All three have a chance to be the highest rated player at 12.

If all 3 are there, they best trade down. And can still get one of them.
Though I believe Simmons is rated as a later 1st round, or early 2nd round. At least on a few rankings I seen a few weeks ago. Maybe he moved up.

The Cowboys certainly don't come close to agreeing with that and neither does the tape. He likely wins the starting RG job.
Oh, really, they told you?

The tape tells me he gets tossed around like a rag doll against DTs like Jalen Carter.

The Cowboys also think Jonathan Mingo and Jalen Tolbert are quality receivers.

I think we've got our bets placed at OL for at least 1 more season. There's several young guys trying to prove themselves, and replacing them before they get a real shot seems premature.

With that being said, this guard class is so loaded that we might end up with one guy being a smack-in-the-face BPA on Day 2. If someone like Booker or Donovan Jackson is sitting there at #44, I'm taking them.

We're loaded with depth at the OL position, I'm not saying it's good depth, but it's depth, it's competition! Competition will bring us a starter, and I'm sure the Cowboys couldn't be any happier right now, acquiring depth at the OL position, so they can focus elsewhere in the draft.

Several on here felt we could go OL, but to be honest, this depth might not mean much, you never know with the Cowboys. But so far, it's clear they're looking at other pressing needs. Please give your thoughts!
I think at this point it's trade down WR, or sit and CB or Edge
