Surely Dallas is going to make a trade

Dallas has something a lot of teams don’t. And that is quality OL. I could see Bass, Hoff and even Steele all being available for trade today. Maybe we send Bass and a 5th for someone’s 4th and get a RB. While I didn’t like using 12 on another OL it did give them some freedom to trade an OL

Throwing this in here.

I really like what the Cowboys have on the edge.

They get Sam Williams back.

Signed Dante Fowler.

Marshawn Kneeland

Then drafted Donovan Ezeiruaku

And Parsons of course.

We got some edge talent.
Totally meaningless without a stout DT group and we have absolutely nothing there

A line of Osa, Mazi, micah and Ez will be completely trampled in the NFL

Breece Hall, Jameson Williams, and George Pickens seem like the obvious choices.

The draft still has a ton of good runners so Hall seems unlikely.

WR is thin now and seems like that is the obvious move.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Amari Cooper is in play as well.
They will do nothing.

Then later in the season. When the WRs are playing like poo, Jerry will trade for one, like the Amari year.

Or like cooks a few years ago.

They always react. This WR group you see is who starts this season.

Arrogant because they had a second round grade on Mingo, and want to prove they are smart.

To our detriment of course.

That’s something most teams do.

Dallas is lazy.

If you haven’t noticed. Once a pick is made they all leave the room for a bit. There’s no trading on draft day for the cowboys. They are lazy.

Look at the HC hire.

You’re telling me. A coach who wants to run it down you’d throat isn’t pounding the table for a RB?

Hes good with Williams and Sanders? Lol.

He’s just happy to have a job.

If they trade for Pickens then all Schottenheimers talk of accountability and culture was all lip service and it's same old same old in Dallas.
Jerry is still at the top of the Dallas culture and he still is supportive fully.

I like Booker but Grant was staring them in the face
Even you can understand two starting and interior offensive guards that bite heads off and pee down the stubs both inside and outside of that very pair. That is both running the ball and play action...

And just a better fit to improve the team given what we already have.

With Booker, Mazi stays on the field and Hoffman sits.

Bet I'm gonna like Booker, but he was a reach and a poor fit to improve the team relative to current personnel.

Where did you get the idea that Williams or Hall would be available for trade. Williams is a major contributor in Detroit. He's been injured but he plays like #1. Hall is a beast I don't see the Jets let him walk.
Either of those guys would require a high draft pick or major starter and that wouldn't probably do it.

For the draft tell us now where this goes:

Defensive Tackle

  • Joshua Farmer, Florida State
  • Jordan Phillips, Maryland
  • CJ West, Indiana
  • Ty Robinson, Nebraska
  • Deone Walker, Kentucky
  • JJ Pegues, Ole Miss
  • Tonka Hemingway, South Carolina
  • Cam Jackson, Florida

You’re prob right.

I just still have a bad taste in my mouth from when Cooper played for us and would take plays off and/or completely take himself out of games
Curious how you know that? Did you have the all 11 to watch him take plays off? I’m not be rude, just asking. To me it seems as if our QB couldn’t get him the ball. Even if he did take plays off, he’s still better than any of our current number 2 receivers.

I like hall, but there are plenty of backs still avaikable. Receiver is a different story. They have Lamb and a bunch of 4's.

Jameson Williams would be awesome, but I can’t see that happening now that his 5th year option is in play. He’d essentially would be a 1 year rental for $15mil.. or sign him to a big contract. I can’t see either happening. Not to mention, the Lions GM stated they didn’t seriously entertain trade offers

George Pickens seems likely to be traded and would fit nicely in Dallas opposite of lamb. Still on a rookie deal, he may cost more than a 5th RD. So does Dallas want to give up a higher pick next year? That’s a tough call.

I’d rather draft a late Rd RB, than Hall. I like Cooper, but we’ve been down that road. And Keenan Allen doesn’t move the needle enough at this point in his career for it to matter.

I suspect it will be a late RD WR, a veteran like Allen, and Mingo ..

Ugh.. after typing all that. I just realized that We really need to get Pickens
Year 5 would be 2026, so you’d get him for two years.

yeah right lol, they're not 4's in their eyes, we have a bunch of 1(B) and #2 WR's in the guys we have on this roster lol
