Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 3 thread

We were already regretting the Booker pick.
Actually nobody's regretting the Booker pick he was just picked slightly too high the man's going to be a bulldozer and he's going to be able to start day one that is not a regret that is just a player we really didn't want but this is strange how many damn offensive lineman do we need we brought over like three or 4 in free agency we resigned Hoffman none of this makes sense you had Isaiah Bond you had the running back in Martinez hell if you wanted a real tackle you could have got Cameron Williams from the Longhorns he was sitting there he could be a good right tackle...

I don't care ow he played in college. And he could not have been that good if he lasted until late in the 6th round. Why take another OL when they signed some in free agency and drafted one in the first? Are you telling me that OL needs more help at this point but the DL doesn't? This guy is more than likely a practice squad addition.

Keep in mind they signed Hakeem Adeniji who is also an OT.

Maybe one of these substantial trades will be get rid of some of our OL depth and replace with rookies.
Cheaper contracts.
All so you won’t post about futures bags.
Put a bag over my face!! Lol

Typical Cowboys, we have plenty of CB's, we draft 3 more lol

We don’t do that on day 3. It’s projects and guys you never heard of here
Not all of day three do you forget that normally in the 4th round we have picked players like Prescott and Tony Pollard and the 5th round we've gotten bland but yes in this particular last couple of years in the draft since we lost our 4th rounders there's been some strange picks but Jayden Blue.. ain't one of them he's a steel but this offensive lineman is a head scratcher that linebacker and a 5th round a head scratcher I don't get it they're running backs and receivers on the board and they're at least if you're going to get a lineman get a real tackle like Cameron Williams from Texas could be a starting right tackle...

Keep in MIND they have a plan, it is a great plan, it's a plan that nobody has ever seen before!!! We plan on filling needs in UDFA, they love this time too

If he’s convicted he could be in prison next season. He claims it was a setup. Who knows.

Clear they the Cowboys are not the only team worried.
Bond must have some serious character stuff.....I got him as a 3rd round guy

Lance Zierlein's write up for wat it is worth:

Overview
A durable lineman with NFL traits and four years of starting experience, Cornelius lacks standout flashes on tape. He has been a full-time right tackle but lacks protection talent to stay outside as a pro. He has access to physical tools but needs to play with better bend and hand quickness to help stabilize his play. He can cover up defenders with size but is frequently out-leveraged at the point of attack. His average body control and slide quickness should be mitigated in smaller spaces but those issues will still be concerning against explosive interior rushers. The traits should make him a Day 3 target, but his ceiling might be as a backup.

Strengths
Good heft in lower half with broad waist and long arms.
Rolls hips into angle blocks and runs his feet.
Clean skip-pulls to get around the corner as a lead blocker.
Able to set a late anchor if needed.
Big hands gain wrist control at the point of attack.
Long arms can buy him time when the punch is timed well.

Weaknesses
Subpar foot quickness and body control in space.
Tardy with hand strike and beaten to placement.
Drive power and contact balance sapped by tall pad level.
Doesn’t play with enough control of hands/feet in protection.
Gets knocked backward and into the pocket by power.
Mirror can get pretty raggedy against counters.
