Very deep DT and RB draft and we didn't end up with either in regards to top end prospects

They had a decent draft. Rounds and ratings does not predict players success.

Yeah, steady draft. Maybe a B-.
Like the 2 double dips, absolutely stunk no WR early for the offense. They can lie all they want about having a # 2 already on the team.
That's the big fail.
As with last year, the no 4th bit them hard, and cost them better players.
It used to be Jerry and his injured 2nd rounders, now it's just trade away a 4th for nothing, and suffer the consequences !

Yes, draft was decent but Jerrah needs to go get a decent WR and at least most items are covered.

Realistically this team needs to reload a few more drafts since they SUCK at free agency to supplement overall but if nothing else go get a VET WR!

This has got to be this has to be one of the stranger drafts ever as far as thinking about how many people thought we were taking a wide receiver in the first round but for sure we knew we would address it in the 1st 3 rounds that they take a single wide receiver in this draft at all?

I don't think they did and that's the strangest thing I've ever seen and they've admitted we've already read the feedback they know they don't have a number two on this roster right now or at least ready to step up and be a number two wide receiver there has to be a trade in the works or they're bringing in Amari Cooper Keenan Allen george Pickens in a trade they may wait till another team after the draft realizes they need to move a wide receiver I mean wide receiver is going to be addressed here in the next 3 or 4 days I'm sure we will get A WR 2..

I think that's strange we're all sitting here thinking this draft we were targeting a wide receiver early we make it all the way to the end of the 7th round with Isaiah Bond and sitting there and they don't even make a move they could have even brought in Tez from Oregon..

So there must be something they have a Plan B for wide receiver2 because it wasn't the draft...

Yep. Just because a position is deep doesn't mean you can wait until 15 or 20 players have already been taken there.

So frustrating.

There are wide receivers out there you know in free agencies still like Amari Cooper Keenan Allen they got the UFL they can dip into they can make a trade for like pickins there are still lots of work to be done for this roster so the next three or four days will be very interesting..

we are used to them tipping their hand in a way.
but under this new hc/staff...there seemed to be some jukin' and jivin'.
something to remember for next draft.
until proven other wise...with schottenheimer...believe the opposite.
