I hear you, but we also have to account for the possibility that, despite how impressive Jayden Danielsnwas last year, what if he takes a big jump in year 2?

It could happen. Hopefully it won't...because that kind of jump feom where he's already at would turn him into a Top 3 to 5 QB.

Year 2 is usually when great QBs usually show their greatness...so we'll have to hold our breath and hope he's leveled out at really good.

If the Giants had a real head coach, they would be a solid pick. Giants actually have more talent than you guys beloved Commanders. Watch out when the G's get a real head coach! Commanders will be a 7 win team in 2025. Eagles will come down to earth and win 10 or 11. Barkley will not come close to duplicating 2024's success. New O-Cord. Hurts will have to regain his 2022 form to match last season for the Eagles.

That leaves your Dallas to swoop in grab the division that hasn't had a back-to-back winner since 2004. I believe Dallas will win 12 or 13. Dallas has more talent on defense than they've had since 2011. Safeties are still terrible and corners are wait and see but defense starts upfront. If the Cowboys get anything from those late round wide bodies, they could have a stout unit and for nothing else they do have bodies at the LB spots(something they didn't have in 2023)

Just because you feel they have more talent vs their prior teams, it hard to look at every single position on the cowboys and say I would want this player over a eagles player. Eagles have 3 straight 11 + win seasons and young as hell. Idk man, little crazy to think dallas wins even 8 games with an unproven coach and dak coming off an injury another year older. Plus saquan could have a down year .....at 1500 yds rushing instead of 2000....

Yes. I like the teams with possible longshot potential, like Houston and Chicago. They had crappy seasons, but the potential is there for them to break out. Big return too. It wouldn't be the first time a team made it to the SB that was garbage the year before. A few, both teams were. At some point, what the teams are building pays off.

Yes I did, and most of those teams are just not that great.
They are all beatable.
Phil is the best and even they are beatable.


Right now I think dallas will wind up 10-7 or possibly 11-6

I noticed that as well. Tough to predict but this could so easily be a very rough year (tough schedule, Dak, soft DTs, etc )

This is what infuriates me about the Cowboys. In 2023 we were just as good or better than the Eagles. The Eagles make moves to get over the top, the Cowboys do what they normally do after every season, their trash offseason process. Which never changes regardless of what happened during the season. They did this after the 2016 season. I had a rant on how insipid their off season was. The Eagles end up winning the 2024 SB, and the Cowboys don't make the playoffs. This isn't just bad luck, the Cowboys front office earned the results.

The Eagles build off their last season. The Cowboys have a complete disconnect between the season and the off season. What happened during the season does not change their off season process. The only thing that changes their off season process is who they need to replace. They make no attempt to get better. They run the same tired process of drafting and filling holes with dollar store players. It doesn't matter if we went 3-13 or 13-3.

They're going to probably have one of the best defensive lines in the league. It's not just Carter, the other DL they drafted looks pretty good too. Then add who they already have........
