The guy is as polished a pass rusher as you’ll see. Bull Rush, dip and rip, hand fighting, getting small and firing through gaps, the ankle flex, the leverage. Man it’s impressive. I also learned that he is a TFL machine. Much better against the run than you would think. Great character guy. Produced despite being double teamed. Imagine what he will do with 11 on the other side. A GREAT pick at 44.

I like this pick a lot. EZ is not only a major talent, he was also elected captain by his Boston College teammates and his leadership shows up often when you read about him. Sam Williams should be both motivated and worried.

My hare brained scheme is to trade Micah. Get a WR2 or DT and a pick or 2. If Sam Williams shows up motivated, trade Micah. Fowler got 10 sacks last year and can still play. I really think that is the way to go.

That would be good, little Micah is not a good fit...he wants to be all talk and nothing else. But, I guess he is here to stay. smdh

If sam has a really good season I'd possibly sign him to a cheap 1 year prove it deal. Cant be giving guys long contracts without at least 2 good years imo.

can he stop the run? or are the RBs just going to right by him, because he gets pushed out of the way and his run defense sucks?

His run stop grades are very good. The guy is long and plays with great technique. Is he a 70 snap DE in the NFL? Probably not. He is not just a pass rusher though.

Much better player than Williams. Much more productive. Certainly a better character coming out of college.

I have been YouTubeing him and I’m really excited. Probably the guy I’m most excited about. I think he’s going to be great!
