I was Cowboys will be the shock of this NFL season, just like Washington was last year, just like we’ve seen the Jets ,we seen one time the Jaguars did it , they are coming.

Coaching staffs gonna be the best teachers schemers, play collars and game planners we’ve had in a decade they’re gonna take an average team and take them to the championship game!

This is my crazy prediction.

the way I see it if the San Francisco 49ers can make a Super Bowl with Kaepernick and they made another Super Bowl with Garoppolo and a three headed committee at running back. You know the running back by committee. Everybody seems to be against here, but Christian McCaffrey didn’t help their cause. I mean they did the same thing without him They’ve done it before without one back that’s great.

The only disclaimer I’m putting on it if we’re riddled with injury like last year and lost too many key players, I Reserve the right to take it back , but if we have a healthy season, at least relatively normal season of injuries for the NFL ,nothing crazy ,

I mean seriously they are they have almost 5 months left lots of moves are going to happen especially with the bottom 30 of this camp roster you know it's going to churn for the next month to three months and they're going to make changes and once they see what they really have in training camp and they get into the 1st preseason game they probably will make a couple of moves it might be surprising they're going to bring in a veteran wide receiver could be 1 of them in a trade similar to Brandon Cooks I mean they did that with a 5th rounder I mean they might bring back Gilmore at corner I mean they're not done..

You’ve got a point about the bargain basement shopping. Jerry’s not the gambler he once was. And Stephen has slowly almost taken over. He’s the real problem with the stinginess on top level free agents. I’m sick ofof hearing, “There’s only so many slices of pie.”

Yeah that's the thing though as much as we hate the way they usually do the offseason last offseason they didn't even do that it was worse they brought in one player before the draft and that was a good player in Kendricks but that's it and then after the draft and way late into the process they brought in our bunch of really low end fruit we're talking about fruit on the ground that was rotting already even though a couple of them played pretty well like Lawson at least this offseason they done a lot more moves i'm talking about probably three times the amount of moves they did before the draft and I think their draft links up with what they did in free agency so they're kind of connecting you they didn't just pick all the fan favorites you know I wish they did but they kind of went with the same theme in the draft that they did in free agency and they're not done yet..

And when we're just comparing last offseason and last year and all the injuries and I mean a record amount of injuries this has to be a better year!!

so yeah, I might have had an exaggeration full of sarcasm and facetious statements ,but crazier things have happened I mentioned it who thought with Mark Sanchez and that bad offense they had was going to make a couple of AFC championship games and we seen Bortles and that team make AFC championship game we've seen teams like Washington came out of nowhere as a Washington can barely compete with the Cowboys last year in the regular season and they make an NFC championship game, it's not that crazy to think that this new coaching staff with enough moves and some luck with injuries you never know so I thought I'll post a crazy post..

I mean lastly I mean there are more scenarios of dark horses going further than expected but I mean how does a Nick Foles led Eagles team win a Super Bowl I mean this can happen when least expected when most of everybody else is seeing a 6 win team all of a sudden they're playing in the championship game and it's a shocker...

It’s funny because almost every team in the NFL has lucked up and made to a championship game or Super Bowl since Dallas’s last Super Bowl. There is always one team that comes out of nowhere……except for Dallas. Keep dreaming. I highly doubt this is the year.

Well Blue, I disagree but I respect your audacity in posting this.

What makes this forum great is having a place where Cowboys fans can express whatever opinions they have about the team without being attacked or ridiculed. You have planted a flag and have every right to do that and should not be harassed for having this opinion.

Which should be about everyone’s opinions here. Even the alleged “negative” opinions (which are subjectively judged anyway)

What keeps me from joining your take is I believe for us to make that leap will require several miracles…which are always are a possibility regardless of probability. But the holes in our roster going into this off-season were so numerous I can’t just jump into believing that somehow this front office gets a mega-dose of full on Lady Luck favor. Jerry torpedoed an entire season last year and IMO it will take some time to recover.

But if your prediction comes true I will be thrilled. If it doesn’t don’t get mad at anyone who predicted it wouldn’t. Fairness should always respect all opinions.
