Joe Milton "Not a Good Dude" According to Patriots Insider?

Milton was not going to sit behind another rookie, for five seasons. And sit there and be happy about it. I wouldn’t be in neither. Would anybody else with their right mind. I actually think he’s better than Drake. New England was second-guessing, even drafting Drake.
So New England second guessed drafting Drake but gave away a guy with a competitive streak that could be better? That doesn't make sense to me.

This^^^, pretty sure Milton wasn't shy about his confidence to compete for the starting job. and frankly, who can blame him?

Drake actually had the better season than they thought he would. actually, he had a great season. They fixed the defense up here in New England will have a good team. If it wasn’t for my military days and Roger Staubach, I probably would’ve been a New England fan even though I didn’t like Tom Brady. I was a Steve Grogan fan.

yes, once they realized what they had. But right after the draft they were upset about the pick.

I was going to say not much makes sense to you, lol but I didn’t think you’d get the sarcasm. Just so you know, I don’t have an agenda here. I just enjoy football always have.

While Drake Maye is considered a promising prospect, there were initial concerns regarding his readiness to play immediately in the NFL and whether the Patriots made the correct decision by drafting him. NBC Sports. Google AI just search this it’s been a while.

I get all sarcasm that's funny. The rest, like your potential comment, I wouldn't have gotten, you're correct.

Hey-yo!

All joking aside, thanks for your info. It does shed some light on things but I still won't call this an open and shut matter until we hear from America's Cowboy.

lol that was good

Good then he'll push Dak and maybe that will light a fire under Dak to play better. Dak hasn't had real competition since Romo and that was Dak's best year. If it doesn't light a fire under Dak he'll crumble and then maybe we'll see what Milton has.

By all accounts while at UT, he was a good guy. But what's more relevant right now, he can't play.

Maybe he needs someone to believe in him enough to give him a fair shot ........but the best thing he can do is control what he can control and work his a____ off. Be ready when the window opens

And Dak is here. So is he really in that much better a spot?
That was my thought all along.

I’ve read that he doesn’t see himself as a backup but he wanted to be traded to the place that has a QB just beginning a record deal?

They are almost definitely going to have to be bad for a period of time to find their next QB, but they don’t appear to want to hear that.

This whole Milton plan working revolves around Dak getting hurt. He doesn’t play otherwise. I don’t get it but hey, Jerry is the football genius, not me.

Maybe the Patriots planted him here so he could be a cancer and blow up the Cowboys QB Room to ensure we'll never reach a Super Bowl. Oh wait, all they have to do is keep Jerry alive for that to happen. Carry on.
