If we had a track record like that torches would be lit . Btw, how does Tomlin continue to get a pass with this kind of track record? Just wondering.

Mingo will have a chance to be wr 3. Tolbert better watch his back.I just hope the Joneses aren't so determined to prove themselves right about Mingo that he's forced into the lineup ahead of Turpin. Turpin needs to be our main third receiver.

He will. I just think Turpin showed last year that we need him in the game. I didn't see anything from Mingo or Tolbert that tells me either will be a better option than Turpin. Now, we don't want to overuse Turpin, but we spent most of last year underusing him. Hopefully, what we're paying him and what No-Schott has said about him shows that we learned our lesson.Mingo will have a chance to be wr 3. Tolbert better watch his back.
How much control does Tomlin have over who they draft? If we had a track record like that torches would be lit . Btw, how does Tomlin continue to get a pass with this kind of track record? Just wondering.![]()
They let him go because of the money needed to sign him to a new contract. The point was Pittsburgh does not let a wide receiver leave unless there is said problems with him. Time will tell. See my other thread on what Jourdan Lewis thought.
Fans didn't make this an issue. Jerry Jones and Schottenheimer did.Everybody is clammering for Dallas to get a second wide receiver. Now we're clutching our pearls crying but the culture oh the culture. We'll go to the museum and get some frigging culture
You will change your opinion on Pickens. We will never pick in the 4th round again.
Not really. They could use the franchise tag on him over the next couple of years. It would actually be smarter than a long-term deal. The tag for WR in 2025 is $21M, but he's playing this season, the final year of his rookie deal, for about $4M. So if we tag after this season and again 2027 ....I mean, compensation like that. They have to re-sign him to a long term deal.
Same here ..........I was hoping we would draft him.Yessss! I wanted Pickens when he was in the draft!!! We have a legit offense now
There's a few of them that really hate this move...You will change your opinion on Pickens.
There are more than a few that hate every move. There's a few of them that really hate this move...
Hahahaha! There are more than a few that hate every move.

I am negative when I feel that negativity is appropriate, so I am no saint, but I am also positive when I am seeing actual progressive moves being made that are total positives for this franchise and cannot be denied.Members of the negative propaganda movement.
Well, I guess when you keep trading them it’s not all that bad.If we had a track record like that torches would be lit . Btw, how does Tomlin continue to get a pass with this kind of track record? Just wondering.![]()
Even though he picks all these guys, or has major input. He gets credit for cutting them loose once he finds out their issues. If we had a track record like that torches would be lit . Btw, how does Tomlin continue to get a pass with this kind of track record? Just wondering.![]()
We have two top 10s.Yes. Do not mistake that he isn't a blue chip talent. He could be a top 10 WR in the league if he wanted to be.
You're saying that if they hadn't have made it an issue you wouldn't have a response you haveFans didn't make this an issue. Jerry Jones and Schottenheimer did.
