that's the mistake. not wanting to admin Mazi is a failed pick and sticking to it until end of contract regardless of the play. that's what Jerry does. he is spending money and 1st round pick for Mazi, and doesn't want to pay more, get an actual starter and Mazi being back up which is all he deserve.

Hooker and Wilson are below average Safties. their backups even worse.

I would put DT, LB, Saftey as bigger need than WR. does it make the offense better? my issue with this trade is that its a one year deal. was this team one player away from being a championship team? if not, then why make this move. traded a mid to high 3rd round pick for an essentially 4th round pick.

I don't believe this roster is a superbowl contender but you just never know for an nfl season will go...

Teams can catch lighting in a bottle at the right time...injuries can derail superbowl contenders....so i'd say anything is possible.

Suck is a strong word. Their edge rushers are excellent.

well, the best prediction of future is looking at past performance. can somebody turn it around? yes, of course, but trajectory is important. they have to have shown. so far Mazi has shown squat.

You want some more opinion. They acquired the best receiver available in the league. They drafted the best guard in the draft, drafted the best pass rusher in the draft, drafted the best corner in the draft, and drafted the best receiver out of the backfield in the draft. That's my strong opinion.

A 3rd for a one-year guy with major character issues on a team that isn't going anywhere this year anyway.

I'm sure they'll extend him after he helps them make the playoffs.
