Correct especially with all the players we can't pronounce their names like I'm going easy EZE for our new pass rusher.. You have some ocd and adhd and all kinds of dads in here that want to tell us how we should type out our responses...Big Mike , MM , JG, JJ,....triggers him LOL

He has been called that in the press numerous times. Also most people do not want to type out his full last name. Shotty is much easier to type out than Shottenheimer. It is natural behavior to do so, not just people thinking he is their best friend.

What do you suggest for people to type out that is shorter than Shottenheimer?
 
Bring it on this will be a good test for the Dallas Cowboys team brand new coaching staff a lot of new players missing some injured players/

What better way is it to start a season to see where you stack up against the Super Bowl champions....
If you hang close and lose look competitive that's a good thing if you win that's a really good thing but if you lose big you'll know exactly where you stand and the team will get woke up early and they know they got a lot of work to do so I don't see any negatives coming out of here except for you know the fans overreacting to one game win lose or draw it is just 1 game...

I'm betting right now 75% of these posts are that we're going to lose we're going to be embarrassed and that we can't stack up against the Eagles but if we win the game they're all going to come in here and say it was just game one neither team was ready either team is going to look like this all year and it was just a game it was one game they'll throw it off if we win they'll make excuses to how it means nothing... :popcorn:

I agree and you're using talk to text or something like that it misspells it every time I prefer just to call them BS....

Wow that's the fun thing about the NFL for one we have no choice who our quarterback owner GM who the roster is we just watched the games couldn't be a better rivalry and don't say it's not a rivalry... I realized going on the road game one against them is a tough thing to do but I think there'll be a lot to learn from this game.

I mean isn't ironic though I mean people forget that the nfc East Championship game the Washington Commanders struggled to beat us last year with our backups in both games they had to pull Jane Daniels and put in Mariota,​

Mariota save the game they barely beat us I mean they look at a sorts but that's how games go you can never predict the games we're talking about an energy championship team who could barely keep up with the Dallas Cowboys practice squad. I mean think about this apparently people around here think that somehow there's a gap between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington how is that I mean they barely beat us the second game we were playing with mostly backups they were supposed to be the better team and I'm pretty sure they lost at home to a practice squad Cowboys team and somehow you think there's a gap there are people thinking there's a gap like we're going to be number 3 or 4 no matter what and apparently people don't watch the NFL and apparently they forgot how those games actually went last year...​

And then they go into that championship game and look like they didn't belong so be careful with on paper actually looks like..​

Apparently when Prescott's healthy people forget how dominant he typically is in the NFC East and how well he plays against the Eagles well they just made his offense better I mean we don't know what the offensive line is going to gel but we're a better offense out of the gate in my opinion than we were last year out of the gate we have Pickens to go on the other side of the lamb we have a new coaching staff that hopefully learns how to use Turpin better and then you have blue absolute dynamic player you can use out of the backfield out in pass routes all of it they're not going to know what he's going to look like either.. So as far as offense goes the Cowboys are better than they were last year just on paper...​

In my opinion at least from where I view things the NFL is one of the hardest leagues in sports to predict especially your division rival games.... So we just sit back and see how it goes...​

lol, I am sure you will hear all sorts of colorful names if he flops. Right now I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but he will have to be good or I will join all the others in providing not so nice nicknames for him
 
Can't remember the last time we played in Philly in the first quarter of the season, let alone this early. At least it will be an early wakeup call if they don't play well. Nothing worse than an early soft schedule that gives this team a big head only to come crashing back to Earth.

So will all the one's calling him Shotty as if he were the next door neighbor. lol. He won't be called Shotty once the losses start piling up.
