Can 9 year veteran Dak Prescott lead today's Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl?

Can the 3rd best QB in the division lead the Cowboys to a super bowl? No.

Win 3 games in a row in January against the likes of Stafford, Goff, Hurts, Love, Daniels, Mayfield? No.

Forget the super bowl. Can he lead the cowboys to just 2 wins in a row in January? The clock is ticking.

No. The proof is already there. He chokes in the biggest moments against playoff teams. He's on the downswing of age and his play and injury in 2024 proved it. But I sure hope he proves me wrong. I'd love for the current group to get a ring.
My prediction is that he'll do well in the regular season, but get injured along the way and his backup will take us into the playoffs and we'll get beat in the divisional round as the team once again doesn't seem to take preparation for the playoffs seriously enough.

Can Dak win a Super Bowl?
I guess anything is possible.
And, so, 9 years, eh me fave poster?
I say, hip-hip, hip-hip, hip hip hooray!
Let us go for 10 years. Or longer. Whatever it takes for our ner'do-well problem child who needs all the time in the world.
Maybe the NFL can punish 12 other teams, suspend them from the playoffs and make it easier for Dak to succeed.
Right you are, govnor, right you are.
Thus, given 15 or so years Dak can succeed!
And then you and I, OP, can tell the 90% nonbelievers "We told you so, naysayers, ha-ha-ha!"

I don't see how anyone thinks he is capable of leading a team to the SB. His choking threshold is so low combined with his inconsistency. He isn't a complete QB. He lacks the accuracy and ability to throw players open. His movement isn't what it was and his mental state is worse than when he started playing.
Usually a QB that is capable of winning a SB has the physical and mental ability but doesn't have the team. In Daks case he doesn't have either.

Worse quarterbacks than Dak have won superbowls. The problem with Dak is him being the 4th highest paid athlete in the world while being the 10th best QB in the NFL. That makes it damn near impossible to have a championship caliber roster. This team has some potential on offense but the defense isn't going to be elite. That's eventually going to bite them.

Any rational thinking person knows the answer is NO, and in fact also knows he can't even lead them to a SB appearance and loss, or a NFC Championship game appearance and loss.

But he's good enough to beat a few cupcake teams early in the season, and rack up some serious garbage time stats, which will allow everyone in here to puff up and start making insufferable SuperBowl predictions in Sept or Oct, so that's what people in here can look forward to once again.

The issue has never been Dak, but the owner who is also a GM.

Look at they're last Super Bowl team. Yes, it was with Switzer and not Johnson, but then look at the relationship with Aikman and Switzer. Seemed like Aikman was more motivated to win and not lose vs his own head coach.

The owner and GM of the cowboys had a proven leader in a coach named Johnson, but the owner/GM could not take being second in the spot light.

Someone once previously mentioned that when he saw the dirty birds last SB win, it actually took him a little while to figure out who the owner actually was on their victory celebration on national TV. The reality is that would NEVER happen with the current owner / GM of the Cowboys. He (the GM and owner) wants the credit? He can take the blame IMO.

How many owners (who is also the GM) land a helicopter at their training facility and stop practice? At least it made the news ;)
