Broaddus just said on the fan that he's wearing 13 for the minicamp.
Good. I don't want him to have Witten's number!!Broaddus just said on the fan that he's wearing 13 for the minicamp.
There is no proof Lamb wanted 10.Pickens will be wearing 14 no later than mid-August, if not much sooner.
Only debate is if Jerry pins this one on a dead friend like Lamb, who wanted #10. Guy probably couldn’t stand Jerry….if he even existed.
Who reads Wiki?Wiki Roster has Pickens jersey at number 82.
has anyone seen otherwise, or any other confirmation?

Josh Kelly is at 14. I am really surprised they have not changed this. Unless Pickens does not want or care to have 14.
Dallas mothership site does not show a number assigned to him yet. Then again, it takes them weeks if not longer to update anything with the roster.
Wonder what Jerry will do to get those jersey sales going.
I look at it for the current roster. It is always updated before the team site is, or other sites.Who reads Wiki?
Well, it won't be available unless we cut Campbell. I expect that to happen, though, since Campbell was kind of the placeholder for Pickens. Lamb, Pickens and Turpin are absolutes. I'll be surprised if Mingo and Flournoy are cut due to the recent investment in both. That leaves one spot at best for Tolbert (most likely), Campbell, Brooks or any of the young receivers. If George Pickens was smart and followed Cowboys history, he would jump on jersey #80 and pair it up with CeeDee's #88. Perfect opportunity for George Pickens to make #80 even greater. He would stand out even more wearing #80 than any other jersey #. He really needs to get smart about this and pick #80 while it is available.

A media member got wind of something that was mentioned, or made it up. So fans run with it to rag on Jerry.
Not defending anyone but if it makes you feel better, believe what you will.https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profo...ked-no-10-before-realizing-significance-of-88
I didn’t need that to “rag on Jerry.” He does plenty otherwise, nor do I consider NBC sports an a non-credible entity.
The OWNER or even GM, whichever….getting involved as to what number a draft pick wears shows you where the priorities lie within this franchise, but feel free to carry on with defending the guy. That’s your call.
here's a question. Back in the day, how the heck did Raiders center Jim Otto get to wear # 00 ?
Was that before the NFL and AFL merger?here's a question. Back in the day, how the heck did Raiders center Jim Otto get to wear # 00 ?
They will keep 6, and have kept as many as 7 before.Well, it won't be available unless we cut Campbell. I expect that to happen, though, since Campbell was kind of the placeholder for Pickens. Good ole Jason QwittenI would think Witten’s number would be off limits for a while. But you never know.
google aihere's a question. Back in the day, how the heck did Raiders center Jim Otto get to wear # 00 ?
Great question.why does anyone care about what number a player wears?
thank you. I looked a little, but didnt se anything offering details like you provided. thanks. Forgot about ken burrough wearing 00. He was a good WR for houston. Deep threat.google ai
The NFL officially banned the number 00 in 1973 when they standardized their numbering system. However, before that, several players wore 00, most notably Oakland Raiders Hall of Famer Jim Otto and Houston Oilers/New Orleans Saints wide receiver Ken Burrough. These players were essentially "grandfathered in" because they were wearing 00 when the rule change was implemented.
You left out Tolbert. I think it's him, Flournoy and Mingo for the 4-6 spots. Campbell could be a vet PS addition depending on how the younger players play. I believe Philly kept him on the PS part of the year last year. They will keep 6, and have kept as many as 7 before.
Brooks could be the odd many out here.
Lamb, Pickens, Turpin for sure.
Then 3 spots to Flournoy, Mingo, Brooks, Campbell. Maybe Holden surprises and gets in the mix.
