Video: Schottenheimer Press Conference

I think the OC was brought in to run his scheme. Schotty doesn't have a scheme from this decade.

Guy hasn't run a top 5 offense in his career. So I actually hope its Adams and not Schotty to be honest.
He has said from day 1 that he is calling plays.

Awesome head coach's press conference!

Coach Schottenheimer was relaxed, honest, very informative and exciting to listen to. I had my doubts but looks like Jerry, Stephen and Will made a very smart choice promoting Brian Schottenheimeras head coach AND allowing him to bring so many big-time big school college coaches to help him with the Dallas Cowboys.

Can't wait for this upcoming 2025 season! Cowboys are going to surprise a lot of people.

It's not at all like last year because he didn't call the plays. This year he is literally calling the plays. Did you miss that part?
He didn’t watch it. He has a half dozen prepared comments on notepad that he just cut and pastes into any thread depending on the level of pot-stirring strikes him in the moment.

This is like attempting to judge how well a bird flies after its wings are clipped.

Shoddy may very well be a decent NFL leader of men, but he can’t overcome the Jerry factor. Few can, and those few will never be hired.

Jerry is going to do what he wants, and if there is any success to be had in Dallas, all the credit is going to him, or he’d rather it not happen. ‘My way or the highway’ times several million.

He'll be anything but. He is calling the plays. That will have a direct impact on how this team performs, one that everyone in the entire league will see. There will be no faking or hiding for Schottenheimer if the offense doesn't perform.
Well, at least we have Eberflus to take over for him when he's gone. Second chance to get it right!

He's had the top-ranked rushing offense a few times and No. 1 red zone offense at least once. In his last stop before coming here, he had the sixth-, ninth and eighth-ranked scoring offenses in Seattle, but yeah, not top five. Those teams were top 10 in rushing and red zone but in the teens in or lower in passing yards and third-down efficiency. It will be interesting to see what Adams is allowed to add to the mix.
