Dak is a bonafide All-Paid Starter

Dak is QB1 on the all-paid team.

By average per year (APY), Prescott is the NFL’s highest-paid player by $5 million (Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Jordan Love and Trevor Lawrence all check in at $55 million). Somehow, Prescott’s contract survived Allen’s $330 million extension in March. The 2024 season went about as poorly as it could for Prescott. After throwing nearly as many interceptions in the first eight games of 2024 (eight) as he did in all of 2023 (nine), Prescott suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in November. However, in his last full season (2023), he led the NFL with 36 touchdown passes. At the end of the day, performance in the playoffs will always define a quarterback. A 2-5 career postseason mark remains a blemish on Prescott’s résumé.
Ok. Stop pocket watching other men.

At this point in time the Dak homers remind of me of a rutted up whitetail buck. Brash, loud, confident. Scraping up the ground. Rubbing the trees, claiming his territory. Fighting every other buck he crosses paths with. Then, one crisp November morning, he's cruising through the woods. nose to the ground running down that hot doe with single minded purpose. Suddenly, the bullet slams into his chest destroying his heart and writing his ending in ink.

The buck doesn't accept the reality though. The will to live and the adrenaline allows him to keep going. It can be amazing just how far that mortally wounded buck can still run before the cold, hard truth of reality gets the last word.

You guys are as amazing as that buck who flat out refuses to accept his fate as he takes his last breaths a half mile from where his life actually ended.

He is also first on the all-overpaid team!

I hope the Jones gang listens to shoddy and is patient with Dak while he is in the developmental stage. As an astute football analyst I see signs that Dak can develop into an average NFL QB in just a few more seasons. Very frustrating as a fan to see a QB who is just a handful of seasons shy of obtaining mediocrity let go. As Axyl says, "All we need is just a little patience ".

So, the truth in your view is that a SB MVP award is less significant than no MVP award?

Makes perfect sense.
I think he’s referring to two seasons ago when Dak was second place in MVP voting. What he always seems to conveniently forget is that Jalen Hurts accomplished the same thing in 2022, with even a higher vote tally than Dak, when he was runner up to Mahomes.

It’s possible that he never mentions this because Eagles fans don’t mention it. Real football fans don’t care about second place in MVP voting. They do care about conference championship, game appearances,Super Bowl appearances, Super Bowl wins, and Super Bowl MVPs.

This is why I prefer the more risky neck shot. My .270 Weatherby magnum does the trick, taking out the spine for a quick kill. If Jerry didn't give Dak that extension, we could have done the quick kill, but instead we have your heart shot where the contract keeps going.
