Cowboys fans are having a change of heart around head coach Brian Schottenheimer

Always jump the gun on grading anything Cowboys. The gullible swallow it up every year. Stop drinking the koolaid. The proof will be in the pudding.
A man of your years should see that a lot of good things are happening this year.

Cowboys fans have really come around on Brian Schottenheimer.
That’s pretty funny considering the Cowboys haven’t even started training camp yet. We’ll see how fans feel about him after the first few weeks of the season. I can promise you if we get our doors blown off by Philly in the opener we’ll likely see the first fire Schotty thread of the season. lol The majority of the fan base is pretty skeptical about him. Some fans are still trying to talk themselves into liking the hirer. It won’t take long for some to bail on the honeymoon they’re having with him if we get off to a rocky start.

+1. Schottenheimer has said all the right things but you would have to be a complete moron at this point not to. Here let me try:

"What we want this year is to change the team culture to a winning mindset. Every day, every minute I want everyone thinking about what they can do to contribute to a championship this year. Because that's what the goal is. We have to be tough both mentally and physically. We have to be able to run the ball and impose our will on the game. We are going to install a power run game so that we can dictate to the opponent. The defense has to be strong at the point of attack, flow to the ball and gang tackle. We need to create turnovers and put pressure on the QB . . . etc., etc."

Now that I have strung off a bunch of platitudes, can I be head coach?
Exactly. Everyone is saying the right things. Thst was the first step to see how he handled every bind thus far and I’ll be honest Mike failed. He couldn’t we handle the pressers.

Actually the poll had a majority. Hard not to like the changes and the additions of coaches and players.
Well sure. How can you not love a HC search for the highest profile team in sports that as an after thought , doesnt go beyond the owners outer office? I mean, what could go wrong?

It’s going to take a solid regular season and a playoff appearance for me to change the way I feel about him. If we can rebound from last season and make the playoffs I would consider that a good start with him. However, with two teams ahead of us in our division that’s going to be a challenge.

Well, that's sort of like judging the job a construction company has done building a house when it is working on the foundation.
Yeah. Exactly.

It’s like judging a chef for picking a great set of ingredients.

He could under or over season the food. But hey. Great job at the grocery store I guess. The food isn’t edible but here’s a trophy.

ITs not "judging"...its simply grading the job done so far lol.
