Lots of times vets like Collins get released then resigned later. There seems to be some contract anomaly that creates this scenario to happen. I forget what it is but seems to happen just after week 1 games. I don't know if it applies to Collins but would his salary be guaranteed in on the roster in Week 1 but not guarenteed if brought back after Philly game?

They could for Mingo and Mafah. Release Carson, then sign him back and move to IR.

What are the chances, someone claiming Mafah or Carson, one before the other. They would need to determine that.
But if both are injured, what are the chances a team claiming them injured. Then I believe they have to be added to that teams 53 for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Like when a player is signed off a teams's PS. they must be on. the active 53 for at least 4 weeks. Not sure if that applies to waiver claims or not.

It is not difficult to predict 90% of the roster on damn near any team before 1 pad is out on.
