He isn't LT or Reggie white. Never has been or will be. Taking nothing away, he is good at what he does when the odds are in his favor

Unless the player influences that play, it should not be considered that important. Win rate if you do not pressure or sack the QB or even get a hit on him means NOTHING.

I bet DeWare had a top win rate in his prime but what did it get us?
 
Micah did play much better than some here give him credit for.

But to give example #1001 of how silly (and opinion-oriented) PFF can be, they gave Micah the highest grade (94) this weekend of any player on any team--offense or defense.

so then Dak's 84 PFF grade while personally defeating all of these Micah pressures should be 10 points less than Micah's.
Makes perfect sense.

Simply not true. Yes the very first play of the game they ran it Michas way for a 3 yard game, but on that drive they ran the ball 3 times and only once was it in the direction of Parsons. Not exactly what I would call wearing him down early with the run. 2nd possession was

Q1 - 4:14 - Pass - Tolbert motions in to chip Parsons
Q1 - 3:13 - Pass - Tolert motions over to chip Parsons
Q1 - 2:07 - Pass - 1v1 matchup Parsons/Guyton

Even later in the game I'm not seeing what you're talking about. To start the 4th quarter we have

Q4 - 11:34 - Pass - Guyton/Smith double Parsons
Q4 - 11:03 - Run - Toss away from Parsons
Q4 - 10:22 - Pass - Micah lined up over Hoffman - chipped w/ RB

"Won" is winning in the eye of the beholder? Please if I may, can you show your work? Because to most fans when they observe a player whipping there man, the end result is usually not the opposing team putting up a 40 burger. Just saying.

Oh boy. Now it's the Lord's work? Lol. Pretty sure our Lord doesn't care about football or what Micah did or didn't do. I'm not trying to be difficult. I guess I'm from a different era where winning by a player meant they dominated there man and got a win, and everyone knew it. Didn't need to be explained in great detail, it was just known.

This is silly. It's a team sport and there are limits to the impact a single player can have. The Steelers gave up 32 in regulation to the Jets. What does that say about TJ Watt? The Browns gave up 40 to the Ravens. What does that say about Myles Garrett?

Parsons won is matchups a high rate. The Cowboys moved the ball despite that. Both of those things can be true.

Why would we grade an individual player for team results though? If an O-lineman makes his block but the RB makes a bad read and hits the wrong hole do we mark that as a bad play for the OL? Is anyone expecting Zay Flowers to go out and put up 100+ yards this weekend if Lamar Jackson doesn't play? No, because results are dependent upon all 11 guys on the field.

Plenty of HOF players aren't the two you named. DWare and Charles Haley weren't them either. So what? If you are a great player, you are a great player. The kid is a great player. Whether we like him, root for him, or not.

He's a great player on another team just like LT and The Reverend. Not rooting for him like I didn't root for them. But, when he makes a play I will still be amazed by his skill. Just like I was with Derrick Thomas, Aaron Donald, Bruce Smith, etc.
