It doesn't matter because the DB had committed interference first. If it was only Lamb extending his arm, then it would have been offensive pass interference, but the DB had already grabbed and impeded him.

Again, it should have been a no-call IMO because the DB committed interference and then Lamb committed OPI to get away. But I think the official had already made up his mind to flag the DB for his interference before Lamb pushed off and made the catch.

You can't ignore the DB's interference just because of the push-off by Lamb.
 
I just want to add this. Special attention for the people that don't like negativity on this board:

I've read some Philly message boards today and also listened to both sports talk stations in Philly. I would say overwhelmingly the fans want answers to why this happened and want to see changes within the coaching staff. Even some of the media/ talk hosts in Philly feel some coaching changes are needed. And they won the Super Bowl 10 months ago.

So really, how awful are we? Not so bad IMO. So many times on here I read.....no other fanbase is like this, no fans are as negative as some of you guys claiming to be cowboys fans. 10 months ago the eagles hoisted the trophy. And today they aint happy.

I used to visit the old Extremeskins message board a few times during the season back in the day, and those fans were just as miserable as the Zoners here. Id imagine the fans on all message boards are about the same...

A lot of sick tickets out there.
 
Some of my thoughts almost a day too late:

-Osa has been a different player since Quinnen Williams arrived. Been so much more disruptive.
-I am a Donovan Ezeiruaku fan but to me he was on the ground a lot in this game. Clowney and Sam Williams played better.
-The short three yard flips to Ferguson need to stop. Get him downfield like in 2023 again.
-Brandon Aubrey is, indeed, human. Made up for his miss with the game winner.
-I hope Caelon Carson is okay, because Shavon Revel is still knocking off the rust.
-Dallas ran the football better in this game against Jalen Carter than they did in the opener without him in there for Philly.

Agreed, Alijah Clark was a hero in that game! Like you said he got knocked clean off his feet twice and still raced down to the ball carrier on that punt return and caused the fumble!! That was absolutely tremendous!!

you are correct John. Its really just people that are not in tune with other teams and their fans that think some Cowboys fans are a disgrace for having negative thoughts. It was a great win and the best I think since whenever the last playoff win was. All is good today.

this kid, whether with Dallas or another team, will have a 10 year special teams career after that effort. He is the kind of guy I root for.
And a kid that went to nearby Syracuse :bow: :flagwave:
 
It really is a must win on Thursday against Kansas City if Dallas has realistic hopes for a playoff spot. Same for Kansas City. It's almost like a play-in game.

That game would've been a blast. I love marinating in victory while walking back to the car. The atmosphere is hard to duplicate. Must've been fun drinking eagle tears.

I will admit, it didn’t start out fun. Had a 2023 GB playoff game feel. But falling behind like that and then coming back to win sucked the life out of the Eagles fans. And there were a lot of them. Hoping for the same Thursday.

It didn't matter, but there was also blatant PI that wasn't called against Philly on Pickens deep catch along the sideline.
 
So, did we ever get any kind of explanation for why they were calling the timeouts at the end?
