He did great last couple of games but let’s slow down and finish the season
Can you say Pickens, Ceedee and Overshown I knew you could.
I like his aggressive call playing. I don’t think the Cowboys win if MM was still the HC. I’m glad they have him as the HC.I said a few weeks ago that I wished we could have had Schottenheimer sooner. I'll double down here. So far, Brian Schottenheimer is an elite Head Coach.
Has he been perfect? No, but every coach makes a few errors. However, by and large, he's made a lot more great coaching decisions than mistakes. He's good with clock management so far. In a league where you can regularly call out mind numbingly stupid clock management decisions, Brian Schottenheimer (a rookie HC) hasn't made those. Sure, he's gotten a bit overly aggressive times, but a lot of coaches are aggressive now.
Furthermore, not only has he beaten both Super Bowl Teams in the span of 4 days. Not only has he also beaten the Commanders and was a dropped ball away from sweeping Philly. He's outright OUTCOACHED Andy Reid, Sirianni, and Quinn. Remember when we would be upset because we were regularly outcoached under Jason Garrett? I think it'd safe to say we are not being outcoached. He's putting the team in great positions to win (excluding maybe the Cardinals game, which he has really improved from). He's trusting his QB. He's calling mostly great plays. He's managing his time-outs brilliantly.
It's nice to finally be able to say that we have an elite Head Coach in 2025. Who'd have thought that we might actually have the best HC in the division at the start of the season? Even if we don't make the playoffs this year, I currently have full confidence in Schottenheimer in 2026.
3-0 since adding talent to the defense.
Schottenheimers offense has been great all season.

I knew you’d be upset with the win which is a great thing. And I think it’s more like 23% chance now, not 5. Love the misery though! It's crazy that this organization is just filled with elite talent and currently has about a 5% chance to make the playoffs.
He inherited an elite QB and 2 elite receivers, but he's doing a good job. Too early to pour greasy oil on him, but he's better than McCarthy. I guess you could put that on the ledger (for now).

if the cowboys could have played average defense they would have beat the panthers that game is going to be huge at the end of the season maybe. shotty has done a good job so far had a rocky start but he is getting better at getting the team to play hard and win these last three wins.
I hope you bet all your future internet and WiFi bills on the Cowboys making it.I knew you’d be upset with the win which is a great thing. And I think it’s more like 23% chance now, not 5. Love the misery though!
Elite is way too soon
That said he’s done things MM and JG never did which was overcome seemingly insurmountable adversity
Lololol. Moving the goal posts already
I'm not ready to call him an elite coach, but I will say this: The team plays hard for him, and doesn't give up when the game gets tough. On top of that, he has this team believing that they can win against any opponent. That's something I haven't seen from this team in quite a while.
It’s crazy that you can’t say one positive thing about the Cowboys. It's crazy that this organization is just filled with elite talent and currently has about a 5% chance to make the playoffs.

Pump the brakes, he hasn't won anything yet.I said a few weeks ago that I wished we could have had Schottenheimer sooner. I'll double down here. So far, Brian Schottenheimer is an elite Head Coach.

He's the type of guy that if it started raining $100 bills, he'd be on here complaining about having to rake his yard.I knew you’d be upset with the win which is a great thing. And I think it’s more like 23% chance now, not 5. Love the misery though!
