Jerry offered Micah and a 1st for Quinnen Williams

I thought it was reported a while ago that the Jets didn't want to give up Williams AND a first round pick as the reason why they didn't trade for Micah during the offseason (as in reported via the Jets)? I believe that version of events over anything Jerry's blabbering mouth spews out.

That or the Jets are even bigger idiots than Jerry for not taking that trade offer.

So that means the Jets said no to Micah and a 1st but then a couple of months later accepted a 1st, a 2nd and Mazi Smith.

The Jets saw more value in a 2nd and Mazi over Micah.

Make it make sense all the way around.

He offers him a contract that makes him the richest defensive player in the history of the league and then weeks later packages him with a 1st round pick in a trade offer for Quinnen Williams.

He is the Michael Jordan of morons.

And the LeBron James Jets said no, we'll take less later.

Did the good, probing folks at 105.3 The Fan ask Jerry Jones exactly when 'before the season started' actually occurred? I will extend Jones extra brownie points if he did so before the draft. And subtract those points 'when' allegedly took place in relation to the start of the regular season.

It's the Jets. That should explain it all. :muttley:
