It does make you wonder why the Cowboys can't run a pure deception-based defense more on passing downs like the Vikings do. The Vikings just put mental pressure on the QB and offensive linemen on almost every down. Don't know who's coming, don't know who's dropping out. It's not rocket science, it's called, "Let's make 'em think."

I feel like if you have questionable talent, then a deception scheme could help cover up for that...and get some turnovers and sacks. Sure, you're going to give up some big plays, but the Cowboys give up big plays anyway...so why not have some potential upside by creating chaos?
