I love Dak Prescott as my Quarterback

Dak made you quit being a Dallas Cowboys fan. That's how much ownership he has over you. You belong to Dak and he doesn't even know you.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

YOUR intangibles are bottom of the barrel.

A lonely old man who no longer has a favorite football team HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:
But yet...people that REFUSE to critique Dak at all....and insult others for doing it, and LOVE that people don't like Dak....isn't emotional ownership? That's VERY bottom of the barrel!

I know people are thinking "This always comes after we beat the Commanders"

um not really because this year some of Dak's best games were against the Eagles and Packers..... 2 Top 10 defenses in both passing and scoring defense. And against the Chiefs, Dak was all Pro. And you can say the Chiefs were no good this year, but right before Mahomes' injury he was about to drive for at least a field goal, possibly a Touchdown to win the game - and the rest of their schedule was soft. If they beat the Broncos they might very well have been a 10 win team and got into the playoffs. So Mahomes' injury had a lot to do with the suppression of the Chiefs. This Dak plays bad against good teams thing needs to be retired if this year is proof of anything.

He's a Pro Bowl selection in 2 out of the last 3 years. Besides Jackson, Darnold, Stafford, and Allen - who else has been Pro Bowl selections in 2 out of their last 3 years? Dak is far from being done. I think he's gonna last longer than Jackson because running Quarterbacks have a shorter lifespan. He'll likely last longer than Burrow because of his excessive injuries. By 2030 you might still be hearing about Dak while some of his peers will have faded. So get used to it, Dak isn't going anywhere.... neither out of Dallas or out of the NFL. Dumbest take to think Dak ever looked like he was about to fade out of relevance, or ever threatened to be out of the league at any point of his career.

A lot of the hate for him was already building in the last 2 or 3 years of Romo... like from 2013 on. People were thinking 'Romo is nice, but he's more like Danny White. The next guy is gonna be Aikman." They had that fantasy pre-programmed for years, and when they learned that they weren't getting their next Aikman, their fantasy blew up in their face. They threw a hissy fit and built up anger towards the guy they think blocked them from obtaining a Mahomes caliber Quarterback. But fact is... Dak didn't block us from getting a Mahomes. The draft is a lottery ticket.... you get lucky you don't get lucky. For most of any team's franchise history.... you're not getting the best or one of the best QBs in the league. it's just fact. You just have to deal with that low likelihood. Also, i really don't care if we don't have the best QB in the league.

But with that said.... how far behind the best QB is he even? I think it's silly to put him out of the Top 10. Even Top 8 is probably low for him because who can honestly name many better names? You can name the clear exhibits, but after that is a matter of opinion. He easily can be argued as Top 5 or 6 if he has regularly appeared on Pro Bowl ballots for 2 out of the last 3 years. We're talking initial selections, not replacement selections. So hes not that far from being one of the best. But even if he isn't one of the best..... none of you date the hottest, or one of the hottest girls on the planet. Do you not love her all the same? I can love Dak even if he isn't the best.

You can crucify him for those 2 games against the Golden Gaters, but what about those other playoff games? Against Rodgers, it was a Quarterback dual - and those kinda games favors the guy who got the football last..... that was Rodgers. If anything, Garrett and his clock management and his electing to kick an early field goal not understanding that the game was not gonna be low scoring was more to blame than the Quarterback. Against the Rams, Dak was normal. No one's saying he was exceptional..... he was just normal. Normal is good enough against McVay at that time of the year, against one of his better teams. The defense was anything but normal. it was awful and gave up 300 yards rushing. Against the Packers, while Dak precipitated our demise with his picks.... the defense ultimately had the final say. They gave up an opening Touchdown drive, followed by a 95 yard Touchdown drive, and that would be right in the middle of 5 straight Touchdown drives surrendered to Jordan Love. It's a joke that a game can effectively be over after 3 failed offensive drives.....only the Cowboys can let such a thing happen...... the defense was definitely the much bigger issue that game. One of those first 3 failed drives was also a drop by Lamb on 3rd down.

So overall..... how many real opportunities has he had where he was given much of a normal chance non-obfuscated by the blunders of his defense or his coach? Just the 2 against the Golden Gaters. Against the Packers and Rams he had absolutely no chance with how awful the team played overall. And against Rodgers he had a chance but he just wasn't on the field when Rodgers hit that last sideline pass, nor was he on the field during the walk off field goal.

So in short .... he may never get us to the Super Bowl, or we even win one with him..... but i don't know about you guys.... I'm sure gonna well enjoy him trying.
Too late
Pretty sure Dak already has a GF

Nope
I have posted some great stuff as usual

the OP is totally in love with Dak.
Sitting at the Chargers game I was shocked when he came out of the tunnel for pregame intros. He got the 2nd loudest applause behind Lamb. I looked around the stadium and thought, what are all you people getting so excited about?

Side note - Sure enough in the 2nd half there were some boos starting to be heard.

cat fight....
No, it's not a troll thread, the OP is totally in love with Dak. Strange! There are one or two just like her, they know who they are.

I gotta go, so....

but every stadium has booed before. i heard boos in Chiefs and Bengals stadium, which were way louder as they were heard from my TV set.

Is that the Patrick Mahomes with 3 rings? Was he throwing the ball to two WR1s this season? Lamar has struggled in the play offs and maybe the Ravens will decide to move on from him. Josh Allen has been excellent in the play offs. He carries the team but often multiple Superbowl champions and future Hall of Famers Mahomes and Reid have shredded their defense to such an extent that not even he could save them. The last loss to the Chiefs is a great example of an elite quarterback carrying the offense in the first half to keep the team in the game. They ultimately lost narrowly but given how the defense did nothing in the first half it was a performance that it's expected from an elite quarterback paid the big bucks. Something Dak has been unable to do when the Cowboys defense was gashed open against the Packers he actually helped them out by handing the Pack 7 points and pretty much another 7 points before half time!

I agree we will never agree. You love a quarterback with a 2-5 play off record over 10 years.
But I don't place that mantel of a 2-5 playoff record on him alone........nor did for Ramiro as well........and since you bring up the Packer playoff game......you disregard 34 more points out of the discussion completely and 2 tackle Micah with no sack anywhere if we're name-dropping for a bad team loss, or a disinterested Cee Dee at the time. Make it make sense.

look...there's a TON of stuff to complain about. But making Dak totally off-limits is nuts.

Off-limits?.....how'd that get deducted from any rationale or reasoning.......you mean only one to blame, right?
I should have been more clear. I wasn't objecting to you personally. I was just expounding on your comment.

I get it...everyone is braced for impact and insults. We are SOOooOO freaking sensitive about things...especially Dak. It's weird.

I don't mean you per se. Do you remember the thread about what trade value Dak might have? People went nuts about "dak hate" and how could anyone ONLY blame Dak.

I was like...girl...nobody blamed only dak and they actually are treating him as a huge asset...what the freak is wrong with you!

We got us a weird situation going on here...can;t say I blame you for thinking I was railing on you. Sorry.

Cowboys only have one win against an opponent with a record above .500 for the entire year.
And that one win was against a division rival, which are never easy regardless of record; and also during a stretch when the Eagles were struggling to score points.
