Dak Prescott's first decade in the league deserves more respect....

“Dak being graded 4th while playing behind the 21st-ranked O-line and the worst defense in football says everything. He carried this team far more than people want to admit. The Cowboys’ problems aren’t QB — they’re roster building and front office failures.” -- Cowboys Old School FB

He played well this year and certainly looked like the leader with the offense...he was not the problem in 2025, and if they fix the defense this team is a contender next year with him and lamb and pickens

On that Brady comp stat...maybe put up playoff wins by this point too..just to be fair

I'd simply ask......"What if our QB was Justin Herbert or Trevor Lawrence?".........QBs that have been anointed and protected by immunity when it comes to playoff performances and record and not short on compensation.

Where are you getting that he's 4th from PFF? Just wondering.

I thought PFF had him 7....but their grading system is too numbers based. They had Purdy, Burrow, and Love above Allen. Burrow might get some cred off his past, but he's not Top 2 this year like PFF had him. In which case, i don't see many lists with Love or Purdy above Dak either, unless you just crunch raw numbers and efficiency scores or something. Most efficient doesn't mean you're the best.

Dak Prescott had a very good season this past year. No need to have a conversation about you will be QB1 next season. As long as he stays healthy he is a top tier NFL QB.

I think that the Cowboys have had good to very good QB play for a long time. Romo and Dak served them well. The problems with the team have been 1) questionable coaching and 2) failure to surround the QB with enough talent to be a championship contender. Those two problems stem directly from the inept folks in the front office.

This was the best season of his career.......Jerry sabotaged it with the Micah Parsons trade.
*** his window is now ( 2026 and 2027)
*** In 2028, he will either sign a new deal/extension, agree to a trade or be released IMO.

DAk played very well this year.
And fortunately stayed healthy.
With George Pickens and javonte Williams turning out to be Stars this year we had a very nice offense that should only get better next year if we keep it intact.
I think our offensive lineman with another year under their belt will also improve and this in turn will help Dak.

Now if we can just get some quality coaching and fix the defense could give us some really good football to watch.
