He will be in our division. Philly could use him. I think we made a mistake here.
Oh crap. Well, that would just stink. He will be in our division. Philly could use him. I think we made a mistake here.
Washington let Biadasz go.Oh crap. Well, that would just stink.
so has BrockBass is the better player and he's been working at center some so he may end up backing that spot up as well.
at people acting like he's a solid player. They aren't even putting a right of first refusal on him, which comes with no obligation whatsoever. It's not just other posters telling you he's a jag, not just PFF telling you he's a jag, it's the Cowboys' organization.Yep, this is the answer. They are paying Bass to be the first interior guy off of the bench. They will likely look for a cheap free agent or draft a G/C type late in the draft. Tendering Hoffman as a second rounder would be 5.8m in cap....they will likely have a replacement for somewhere around 1.25-2m, saving around 4m. Easy to understand.Bass is the better player and he's been working at center some so he may end up backing that spot up as well.
Bass is a much better player.Placing the tender on Hoffman and letting Bass walk would have made more sense IMO. Hoffman’s ability to play multiple spots made him the fire fighter of the Oline.
Hoffman isn't worth almost $6m in cap hit.I am a little surprised at this. I figured if they tendered Bass, they would Hoffman also.
Hopefully some team over pays him and we get a comp pick.
But if they are active in FA like they say. It won’t matter. It will just offset each other.
Maybe we’re seeing different things then. Modus vivendi.Bass is a much better player.
Nope.Bass is the better player and he's been working at center some so he may end up backing that spot up as well.
I'll take the opinion of our OL staff over any average fan. They see the two every day.Nope.
