News: Ravens back out of Crosby trade

I guess my question is, can he not pass a physical when two numbers 1’s are on the line or if he can’t pass a physical no matter what.
Or, Baltimore used something minor to fail the physical because they now realize Hendrickson can be obtained for less than originally thought and they can keep their picks.

I am not saying we should reconsider....must be fairly significant if the Ravens red flagged him medically. But, his contract is easily restructured where his first year cap hit would be about $14m. Definitely not impossible....plus we would likely be sending one of the #1's which would affect probably save about $3-4m from the rookie pool.
I’m out for anything other than a 2026 second and Osa. 1sts are off the table

Physicals aren’t really set in stone / black and white tests. Everyone in the NFL, even with catastrophic injuries, is incredibly physically fit. It is up to each team’s discretion to pass or fail a physical. So we could find out tomorrow that the bears traded for him and he passed their physical with flying colors

Dude could be comatose on a table attached to an iron lung and the team could pass him if they wanted to. For whatever reason Baltimore did not want to

Baltimore must’ve felt Crosby’s availability at least for some portion of the 2026 season was in doubt due to the knee injury. If so, you definitely can’t trade 2 firsts for him.
I wouldn’t even trade a 1 and a 2 either. I am not sure I would even risk a 1 now. 29 year old with a questionable knee issue is RISKY.
