Similar to the list of highly regarded NFL quarterbacks few on this list have played in a Super Bowl. It’s the other 50 guys on the roster that make the difference.
I don't see it that way. Just a list that can spark conversation.Another thread disguised to glaze the soft, frontrunning, selfish fraud.
Funny you mention lebron. He's similar to micah. Overrated, terrible teammate, soft, attention *****, complainer, etc etc. Only difference is lebrons physical gifts allow him to overcome those deficiencies. And I dislike micahs personality. I don't dislike him for being overrated. And would disliking a non great player be more acceptable for you?I don't see it that way. Just a list that can spark conversation.
The top 10 players don't play in Dallas but most football fans watch a lot of teams and players. It is ok to recognize talent on other teams even if you don't like the team or player.
I always thought Lawrence Taylor, Darrell Green, Dexter Manley, Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Aeneas Williams, and plenty of other great players in the division and around the League were incredible players. Even if I wasn't a fan of the team they played for because I am a Cowboys fan.
There aren't many great players that I can't say are great regardless of the team they play for. Never understood the disdain/dislike/hate folks have for great players.
The LeBron James effect is rampant. Lol
That works. Your opinion matters just as much as everyone else's.Funny you mention lebron. He's similar to micah. I have doubts about CP.We dont need no stinkin pass rushers. Christian Parker will fix this defense.
(fast forward to two years from now and the same people on CZ talking about how Christian Parker was the problem)
It's no surprise that our playoff drought coincides our defensive drought. We haven't had an elite defense since the 90s because offense is what Jerry cares about most. Its a terrible indictment on the FO to have had that and failed to build around it. If we weren't so soft up the middle we could've had a really tough defense.
Sorry but I can't agree. In the NFL, Crosby is a much more complete player.Parsons is a much better football player as a whole.
To me you’re describing an athlete. Micah is a better athlete for sure. But if we are strictly talking edge rusher? We’ve seen team run at him. And it’s not that I think he can’t play the run I think he sells out to get sacks. He was a good linebacker but much better pass rusher. Can't agree with you on this one, Nip.
His years at Penn St. and first two in Dallas, he showed LB coverage skills. No way any DC in the history of football would ask Crosby to do that.
Parsons is a much better football player as a whole. He played RB in high school. He can play special teams on any unit. His athleticism is the reason.
As a football player, the only thing Crosby does better is play the run. He also may be considered a better teammate than Parsons as well. But that is it when comparing them as football players as a whole or edge rushers.
They didn’t though. Didn’t Cowboys offer a 1st and a 3rd? Ravens were desperate than backed out when they saw they could get Hendrickson.Sorry but I can't agree. In the NFL, Crosby is a much more complete player.
That's why, even with the additional age teams were willing to give up as much as Micah fetched.
They clearly reached agreement to trade two firsts before the physical, right? They didn’t though. Didn’t Cowboys offer a 1st and a 3rd? Ravens were desperate than backed out when they saw they could get Hendrickson.
But the deal didn’t go through whether it was a physical or buyers remorse. Micah was traded for 2 1sts and Kenny Clark and I remember people around here saying we got low balled. Because he was “generational”. I’ve never heard anyone say Crosby was generational. They clearly reached agreement to trade two firsts before the physical, right?
Cowboys offered 1st & either a starter such as Osa or a 2nd next year
Looks like Jerry finally helped build a SB winning team... too bad it was Seattle, and not Dallas.3 and 18 haha great job JJ
All good. I respect your opinion on it.Sorry but I can't agree. In the NFL, Crosby is a much more complete player.

I think he can do more things on a football field than Crosby. Especially on defense since he can also play LB and drop into coverage. Then on top of that, he is the superior pass rusher between the two. Give me LT/Derrick Thomas light over Crosby or DLaw or Trey Hendrickson all day. But, that is just my opinion. To me you’re describing an athlete. Micah is a better athlete for sure. But if we are strictly talking edge rusher? We’ve seen team run at him. His size will now be a detriment as he ages. I expect him to begin the slow decline as the pounding by larger linemen starts to break his body down.Weird not seeing Watt in top 5
This is why I wanted Maxx so bad, to pair him with two good DT (a pro bower and an all pro)….Maxx is a monster, from Texas, and to have him with great tackle play? Bruh, our D would instantly be much better. I wanted to trade 20 and Pickens for him, use 12 for a DB, and pick up one of the many quality LB in FA (of course we didn’t do crap in FA at LB)….D would have been so much better.Uh….

Then factor in he’s started fewer games due to injury than Garrett. He’s a phenomenal pass rusher
There’sa reason everyone hates LeBum. And it’s not because he’s a Laker.I don't see it that way. Just a list that can spark conversation.

I believe Micah should have stayed at LB and would’ve been elite there. Moving to edge was the worst thing for him, at least from a team perspective. Maybe not for his pocketbook though. He’s a one trick pony now and a liability against the run.To me you’re describing an athlete. Micah is a better athlete for sure. But if we are strictly talking edge rusher? We’ve seen team run at him. And it’s not that I think he can’t play the run I think he sells out to get sacks. He was a good linebacker but much better pass rusher.
