He reminds you of a less athletic version of YaYa Diaby, and not much else. The Cowboys are throwing resources at their pass rush room though, so the fit is obvious.

I will hope that this guy pans out. It sounds like the Cowboys have a definite vision for him. It also sounds like several are high on him.

I am a bit surprised by the pick in that there were some very highly touted names (and highly ranked) that I have been hearing that Dallas passed on that I would have figured Dallas would have been higher on their board than this player.

Kyle Louis (LB) was one of them. Couple of stud corners and safeties too. If this pick turns out well, then fabulous. If not, then it makes you wonder if Dallas got a bit cute with this pick?

The kid started for 3 years in college as an ILB.

Honestly could he be our future at ILB? It’s highly intriguing to me.

I love all the edge rush we can get. But maybe he would be more valuable to the to be our ILB?

3 seasons as a starter in college is a lot of experience as an ILB.

I'm really starting to like and understand this pick. Some have suggested that switching to rush end hurt Barnham's draft stock. I think I agree. He might be limited in coverage initially, but he's strong against the run and well above average as a pass rushing linebacker. The tape shows a guy that will fit into that strong side ILB spot next to Overshown and/or Winters.

I see what Christian Parker is doing. He's assembling dynamic playmakers with position flex, with the intention of moving everybody around to create mismatches and cause confusion. I like it. I'm seeing alot of potential with the pieces that he's assembled.

He’s a good kid and showed a lot in his freshman year of college ball.

But his 40 time is slow and his combine scores are a train wreck.

He’s more Edge/DE than ILB. Lacks speed and athleticism.
