Fur sure, and we (like any team) will need some luck too. One bit of luck would be a healthy team.

The other bits of "luck" are penalties and turnovers.

Smart, disciplined football keep you out of the objective penalties but luck can keep us out of the subjective ones.

Oh fur sure. I will say, it seemed like we didn't commit as many penalties last season as we did under McCarthy and Garrett? I could be wrong, but we looked better disciplined I thought. Hopefully we're even more disciplined this year. As for turnovers, that will be key for us to control, especially since I think we will be forcing more takeaways with how improved our defence should be. The other key, which Schotty did well at last season, will be good clock management and game management.

Yeah, it was ridiculous! He didn't deserve that! That said, we horses are going to be in the spotlight tomorrow

The thing about penalties is beyond the sheer number of them, it's the situation in when they're called.

Yes good teams are disciplined but its always entertaining to watch Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, etc never get a penalty against them on a last minute drive but ive seen both Dak and Romo have to move the ball 100+ yards just to drive the ball 70 yards for a last drive TD because of "subjective" penalties .

Have never been to one uit everybody i know who's gone to one say it lives up to the hype.
