Week 1: Cowboys at Giants SNF

I was at that game. It was a spectacular *** kicking - however, that’s not going to happen with their new head coach..

I was actually worried about that game. Then 10 minutes later I was relaxed. Worried because week 1 is so unpredictable. But it is true that the new head coach, win or lose, never had the Ravens come out flat on opening day. He is the Ravens X head coach, right?

I'm surprised the NFL is subjecting young Jaxson Dart to this new look Dallas defense in game 1.

The kid will never be the same after the beatdown waiting for him. Giants fans must be pissed.

At NYG week 1. I am ok with opening on the road. However this means week 16 & 17 we will close at Washington & Philly.
Week 13 or 14 we will be at GB.

I just do not want to wait all day for a SNF game. I don't mind the SNF games but not Week 1.

Philly won't be Week18.

We will get NYG at home 13, as they will not give us 3 straight games against the NFCE teams.

I don’t completely disagree. I feel NY is a year away type team from really competing but they’re on the upswing. It’s why I put tougher opponent in quotes. They’re a bad team from the general perception but I doubt we see a bad team week 1.

It’s a differently built team but they have sort of a 2025 Bears type of feel….im just not sure they’re quite as good and may see more ups and downs this season.

Could be an interesting matchup of teams changing identities.

Obviously, our offense is pretty strong but out defense is installing a new scheme, so it could take a while for that to mesh. The Giants have a new head coach, so they are changing entirely, but most of their defensive talent already was in place, so they don't have to sort personnel as much as we do.

I think this game is a good test for both teams to start the season. I think the Giants will be improved under their new HC. We should see right away if the run defense is improved. We will also see if they have learned to contain running QBs because I think Dart will be used a lot in the running game.

Would be very surprised that the networks would want the Eagles game in Week 18
