Cowboys vs 49ers and Osa

Does anyone think he has this game severely highlighted on his calendar?? The story line will be great already with my history of these two teams. Then you add how the young DC Parker came in and saw Osa wasn't a fit and the fact that you have a lot of money tied up at the DT position. Do you think he will have an impact, he will dominate, or we will be glad that we let him go!!??? Please give your thoughts
I'm not sure where you're coming up with this stuff It's business Maybe he's even on a better team why would he circle the calendar why is everything revenge when you face your old team?

And if that were the case we have a whole bunch of guys on our team that were probably cut from their team so we better circle all these games, oh My God it's revenge time buckle up, lol

Osa has nothing to be angry about he still has his money He has a starting position he might be on a better team Why would that be a revenge game which by the way had that Parsons revenge game go I find that a little ironic that the defense he was on gave up 40 points and they didn't win the game How how's that for revenge..

One player can't make that big a difference And also by the way was on our team during those terrible defensive games that we all were appalled by Parsons was on them tank was on them And yes OSA II mean you want me to make a list of all the players that were on the 2023 playoff team that Green Bay absolutely slaughtered us and they were all there they they weren't injured they they weren't on the sideline they were playing and they were the worst part of our entire team and somehow you're giving them a pass as if they should be revengeful..

The Cowboys should circle those games you know all the crap that Tank talked over there in Seattle i'm circling that game I want Fowler in tanks **** kicked all over the field Oh that's right they're buddies who are better than them who actually covered up their deficiencies are why they were winning elsewhere..

Yes thanks for opening up a can of worms 'cause I'm gonna come back with some more i'm gonna go look at the games and circle all the games the Cowboys should have his revenge games..

But Washington should be one of them oh that's right didn't we sweep Washington last year I can't remember but Dan Quinn he had about 30% of the old Cowboys over there so there was a bunch of revenge going on over there did that work for them?

Get my point there is no such thing if that's all you're worried about all years circling a team because you feel like there's revenge it's gonna make you lose focus even in that very game if that's all you're thinking about is revenge it's not gonna work,

Besides the fact that maybe he understands this but he's on defense and he has to face the Cowboys strongest group which right now we have to assume his offense so good luck with that good luck trying to go through Tyler Smith BB and Booker over there in the middle..

Back to the real point there is no reason for him to be upset he still got his money it's a business and he may have ended up on a better team in a better situation..

Osa wasn't a high profile player here so doubt it'll get a lot of attention. I'm sure he would like to show up in a big way during that game though.
Right and I would have loved for him to show up along with Parsons and Tank and all these other players were constantly mentioning around here that ended up in a better position so somehow we think that we should have kept them and whatnot no they were part of the problem i'm gonna keep going back to the 2023 Green Bay playoff game in which from the first snap until the Packers decided to wave the white flag and back off the defense got shellacked i've seen it over and over with Parsons Tank and OSA on this team did not offer much resistance against better teams and speaking of OSA the guy who get turned sideways a lot on obviously physical short yardage run situations, Like Osa I wish he was still here but he has nothing to be angry about if anything we have to be angry and by the way if you're gonna do this why bring up Osa in the 49ers bring up in Fowler in Tank and there's a few others that are over there on the Seattle sideline I have that game circled I want his big mouth shut up on a big stage the Cowboys can make a statement...

I mean if everyone did this and I don't think the players do but if that's what they're focused on it didn't work for Parsons last year That defense he was supposed to be the leader of coming in for his revenge game gave up 40 points and didn't win the game...

That's the nature of the game you as one person if you all you're thinking about is revenge you're gonna hurt your team...

If ever we rued anything around here, this is the king-daddy of them all.

I can envision a 10 tackle, 3 sacks, 4 batted balls, 1 INT and 1 fumble recovery for a TD.

It might take him a whole season to get those number but the potential is there.
that would be in this game only, the rest of the season, you wouldn't hear a thing from him!! lol

Hey it's a great movement, nobody's ever seen anything like it before either! Lol

Why why or is this sarcasm

Yeah man just keep those comments to yourself I'll explain after we win the Superbowl lol

The tuna???

Gotcha

It’s sarcasm. OSA is an average at best DT.

I don't fear Osa vs our interior O-linemen. I doubt he has much impact on the game at all.
Yup. A decent rotational DL would be the least of my worries facing any team.

Yeah, I mean he's OK, just not remotely close to 20 mil worth of OK.

SF did us a huge favor by taking his salary off our hands, and then gave us a 3rd also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look I know you guys are having fun with this but OSA is a good player very solid steady You can count on him he not be elite or have big impacts on games but I think people are under selling this but the revenge thing is ridiculous so I don't condone the thread but all the out of control jokes about Osa he's better than you guys are making him out to be..

There's a reason San Francisco wanted him because they know he they can insert him in there whether it's 50 50 rotational position but he does play well he gets double teamed a lot Bad players do not get double teamed average players do not get double teamed they don't need a double team they double team him a lot..

So maybe if he gets on a team next to another tackle that they can't afford to double OSA and he's gonna be better than you think there's a reason that he was sought out in a trade by a pretty good team..

But no I'm not worried about the revenge factor but you guys with the hot and cold takes it He's a good player he's not elite and the only reason he did get moved was because of the money they knew the new defense he would not be in a vital role where he'd be playing the same number of snaps he did in the 43 and that's why they got rid of him not 'cause he couldn't play in this defense it's because he would have had a reduced role and they end up getting a 3rd round pick back that they used for him in the draft which is great saved money which is great but hopefully this kid Barham turns out to be a really good player and we can close the book on it..

OK we didn't have a 3rd round pick because we used it on George Pickens we didn't have a second round pick because we used it on QWilliams It was a good move by the Cowboys to pick up a 3rd round pick and then get a knee position filled and hopefully it works out..

What about Winters? Should he be involved in that as well?

Sure Osa will want to do well against his former team, but trades are just part of life in the NFL and the fact he was traded will have no impact on the game.

Additionally, whether Osa does well or poorly in that one game won't determine if the trade was a good one or not. Osa's overall and ongoing performance, plus the impact of the player the Cowboys drafted with the extra draft pick (Barham) plus the added salary cap space the Cowboys got are all factors in determining that.

Couldn't agree more!

Exactly.

Of course he could bust. But I will happily take Barham on a rookie deal over Osa at 20 mil.

I think SF should be more worried about Winters, than Dallas being worried about Osa.
bam Correct I mean Coog picks one scenario and forgets there's plenty of others, we've got plenty of X players on our team,

we also have the bigger scenario is facing Tank and Fowler and whoever might be ex Cowboys and against Seattle that's gonna be a big gain late in the year I think we should have that one circled as fans because I would like to shut tank up.

Love for the Cowboys to go out and beat the Super Bowl champions just like last year we beat Philadelphia and Kansas City back to back It can happen and I'm betting everyone thinks that's an automatic loss for the Cowboys...

I think some of our players might look over there and go you know what that could have been our ring and they maybe this is a revenge game for them they shot Tank up show Fowler how it is....
