Woodson vs Witten, who gets the HOF nod first?

We drafted multiple tight ends in the second round and he had no interest in helping develop them. He also wasn't a leader because we would get to the playoffs and immediately exit. I can't say the same thing about woodson so hopefully woodson.
Wow, this is ridiculously silly.

Tight ends and strong safeties don't win championships for teams. They just contribute a bit.

Witten.

Woodson should have been in a long time ago.

Witten should have been a first ballot hall of famer. Witten will get in next year.
Witten is hands down the 2nd best TE of all time behind only Tony Gonzalez himself. He should have been inducted this year and Woody should have been a loooonng time ago. Clearly anti-Cowboys bias going on here. Woody was to our superbowl defenses what Troy was to our offense and there is no excuse.

That is one strange take.
Leaders don't go to Cancun while the team he's playing for is getting ready for a big playoff game the following week. So he made a good point. But that won't keep him out of the HOF. He's a first ballad guy, imo.

Interesting question.........but Woody should have been in years ago. So it's anyone's guess when they will finally put him in. Witten's TE position will impact his entrance IMO. No clue gets in first though............

Witten easily.
His numbers are too much to ignore
Woody on the other hand, is harder to quantify due to playing safety.

So the trait you need to get into the HOF is developing players?

Oh kay...

Dont misunderstand me. I am all for Woody and i do think that Witten doesnt belong in the HOF. He was very good. But not that special. And the HOF is for special players.

Woody was special.

Yeah the witten thing is just stupid. He is #4th all time in receptions. Everyone knows he is going in the hall of fame. The voters are just asinine, they like to play games with people. It’s stupid and it’s wrong.

Woodson by a mile.

Downs will get in before either one of them

It may not be fair but its the Christian Parker mentoring that will seal the deal
Y'all think this is a game he's already enshrined!!! Lol

We would bash you bc it’s a stupid take. Doesn’t change that that guy said it. Its stupid
Stupid is as stupid does private gump!
dumbest post of the day
Truth hurts

Witt'll get in pretty soon.

As for Woody, at a certain point in some cases, when someone has been dissed enough times they just keep getting dissed out of tradition. Seems that way, anyway.

Woodson was great during his entire career. Witten was great while young but average, when older.

I can’t believe the lack of love for Witten by some posters in this thread.
The guy was just really good for a very long time.
That’s special right there.
I best guess is that the last impressions stick with fans and was very average at the end of his career.
He should have retired earlier, but that shouldn’t take away from his overall greatness.
