Have you all heard the news about unsold tickets and empty seats . FIFA overpricing its product in America . You can only get a certain amount of people traveling to America as tourists buying tickets , you still need Americans as well filling seats to Japan Netherlands etc ….it’s pure greed you have to know price point .

Yep, this isn't like other sports. Simply scoring is reason to celebrate. Because it could be the difference in winning or losing. Even in the first 5 minutes. Major league baseball used to be similar when only division winners made the playoffs. Making the playoffs was a huge celebration. That is no longer the case. It's now just ho hum, par for the course.

Not really. The games I have seen are packed. Obviously, there are some less desirable matchups. Atlanta has Congo vs Uzbekistan coming up. There's going to be empty seats.

The problem with ticket pricing are the resellers. FIFA dumped their tickets on them so they could get their money. So, you are aren't seeing FIFA face value. You are seeing Ticketmaster, Stubhub, and seat geek pricing.

Exactly, and sometimes it's amazing when you see a 0-0 draw when the underdog (like Cabo Verde) had no business even being competitive.

As I suspected might happen Euro squads are really struggling in this heat.

Portugal, Spain and Belgium had bad results.
I suspect as move along they will all adjust better but it might be too late for a couple sides if they don't hit match day 2 with more energy and staying power.

For two teams that are probably not contenders in this cup, the Ghana Panama match was surprisingly good for a 1-0 finish. One of the more entertaining matches thus far. But both were weak at shots toward goal. They looked like me taking a panicked shot.
