What if one is not a groupie, but rather is simply examining all the facts and coming up w/ a reasonable conclusion?

I mean, I haven't heard a single thing from the haters pointing to anything other than agenda babble about how awful he is. Not one has analyzed the fact that he was improving drastically last season before he sustained another injury.

The Guyton bashers are the groupies, dude. You have it backwards!!!!!

He freakin sucks.
All the BS traits crap is for a 4th to 7th round draft selection.
And then waiting on development.
His college tape was not impressive.
His first 2 years in the pros he has sucked.

I'm done.
When he gets fired either for performance or is injured it will come as no surprise.

I’m pretty much on the Guyton has been awful side of things, but I’m open minded, and even hopeful that I am wrong.

Let me know the best game he had during this stretch of improved play. I’ll watch that game and the following game and report my findings to get a conversation beyond the same narratives being thrown around.

We were not all fooled by the Cleveland game as many of us acknowledged that Guyton got beat pretty bad during that game. The only reason anyone viewed it as a positive for Guyton was because he flashed some raw ability with his technique at times during his first game. Not only did he get abused most of the game but he barely faced Myles Garrett. He was beaten by speed, over powered by simple bull rushes and got caught out of position on double moves.

That was pure fan hype, same as the Liufau hype after game 1…

The news is encouraging regarding the development of Tyler Guyton. Nevertheless, let's just await the results of said development once the regular season gets underway. Talk is easily offered, but the proof of what was said should await the progress displayed once live action proves it. That's just reasonable.

You just making claims based off your “eye test” is fine but don’t go downplaying the opinions of people who actually know football. If you’re going to challenge people who have actually done their research at least take 5 minutes to do your own instead of making things up.

9:01 - Guyton gets destroyed by a basic outside rush. Saved by Dak getting the ball out quick.
:04 - destroyed by a similar outside move. Saved by the RB.

Kinda odd that I’ve rewatched half the game, you’ve done zero work, and are still putting it on me out the effort in, but that’s fine.

By no means am I changing history. To say Guyton was even average in that game is a stretch. He was pretty bad. I guess if you say he was average for a rookie making his debut you could have an argument.

My opinion was unpopular, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Looking through the guyton posts at the time there was a ton of false information going around, including the idea that guyton shut Garrett down. Not the case at all.

Well, my disappointment with Guyton so far is 80% about his inability to stay on the field. When he has been on the field I don't think he's played up to his first-round pick status (he was a project to begin with) and I'd say he's played more like a 3rd round pick — which of course isn't great but he's not been BAD, and has potential to get better.

Just stay on the field, young man, and continue to work. His story is yet to be written.

What a garbage post. I’m giving consistent opinions, sharing old posts to show both the good and bad of Guyton, watching the tape of the game, and even giving time stamps and data from the game to have an actual conversations…yet I’m the one with the agenda? Yeah I’m sure the agenda driven Person here isn’t the one who keeps throwing vague opinions out without any evidence to back up the claim.
