Twitter: Dak Prescott owns the NFC East

Why do you consistently lower the bar for the highest paid player in NFL History? 10 years in? It's not like he happened to be the highest paid...he and his agent schemed and worked hard to take every dime for him. But of course, even that is not his fault.

The results are not his fault. The money is not his fault. And yet...QB of the Cowboys and has loyal stans beating their keyboards to defend him. What a life!

Nobody lowered any bar. Just answer the questions without all of the semantics.... WHAT QUARTERBACK OR TEAM in NFL history has had success with a 32nd ranked defense.

Just give me the quarterbacks names or teams. Thats all I asked.

Do yall have anything on social media? Id like to check yall out. All jokes aside, im serious.
No social media, I do have recording on facebook and youtube, and I have posted a few tunes in the Off Topic section, but Reality asked me not to post any more, I think he was thinking I was trying to promote my band and possible take away members to my site. I went to music school for four years and missed much of the Romo years while in school. I also play Flamenco music, but there are not many who really appreciate that kind of music.

WHAT QUARTERBACK OR TEAM in NFL history has had success with a 32nd ranked defense.
Notable "Bad Defense" Playoff Teams
  • 2011 Green Bay Packers: They finished the regular season with the worst-ranked total defense in NFL history (allowing an alarming 416.8 yards per game). Despite the leaky defense, Aaron Rodgers led them to a 15-1 regular-season record. [1]
  • 2025/2026 Chicago Bears: Despite having a defense that ranked in the bottom third of the league in total yards and points allowed, they made the playoffs by leading the NFL in takeaways and creating a highly disruptive pass rush. [1, 2]
  • 2025/2026 Los Angeles Rams: Often considered a roster with a "cheap" and low-investment pass defense, they relied heavily on scheme ingenuity (under defensive coordinator Chris Shula) and star power to offset the unit's low player-ratings. [1, 2]
  • 2018 Kansas City Chiefs: Despite fielding a defense that ranked near the bottom of the league in points allowed, Patrick Mahomes' MVP offense carried them all the way to the AFC Championship Game.

The Packers clearly meet your criteria. The rest, I trust you will agree, show that having a poorly ranked defense isn't an automatic disqualifier. I think we can all agree that these teams had well above average QB play which helped overcome the hindrance.

*** I do not agree that the Rams should be on this list. They were part of the search results so I copied as is ***

And this is what i like!! Thanks for this. I honestly didn't know of any and you have educated me, good ****.

Its obvious that it isn't an easy thing for teams to do if these are the only teams in NFL history to do this. That was exactly my point though. Good stuff.

That's what is good about the forum. Questions like yours triggered me to do some research. I had forgotten that Green Bays was the worst in history.

FWIW, I think the search results were geared toward modern era as the AI asked me if I wanted to further define by specifying eras.

Don't forget that he didn't have both Pickens and Lamb every game. Maybe it wasn't forgotten, but conveniently those small nuggets were left out of it. With that said, give me the names of any quarterback in history who led an offense that scored 40 points every game..... so if most quarterbacks haven't done those things throughout the history of the league, why is Dak all of a sudden expected to do it?
I agree with you.

I was being sarcastic of DDS cult

You could answer the questions. If the question is simple, the answer is always easy. I asked very simple questions...just for you. :)
Simple, I explained it multiple times.

Daknhad faults
Other player had faults.

Unlike you with DDS, I don't blame Dak 100% for everything

But I get it. I really do.
I just cant help you.
Your anger and derangement run deep.
Really really deep.

You cant help yourself

Back to back in the same year or back to back years?

Romo neither

Goff neither

Herbert neither, though not quite at 10 years yet. Looks like he’ll maintain the streak when he gets there though

Lamar won 1 in back to back years but not back to back same year

Eli the opposite of Lamar, famously won back to back games in the same playoffs but never won a playoff game in back to back years

Phillip Rivers actually did accomplish both, but did it early in his career and then never did it again

Carson Palmer neither

Here’s an interesting one for you: Aaron Rodgers has a bunch of career playoff wins; but the first time he won a playoff game in back to back years he was the same age as Dak is now

Here’s a better one: the first time Drew Brees won a playoff game in back to back seasons, he was 8(!) years older than Dak is now

And this one is most interesting (to me at least): Peyton Manning only ever did that once
I was talking back to back playoff games in the same year

Stafford is the only 1 who overcame this jinx and he had to change teams

Point is that Daks chances of even getting to a SB let alone win it with the Cowboys will mean doing something that has never been done even once in the SB era

Dak aint doing it

Cowboys haven’t been to a conference championship since Dak was 3. You aren’t going out on a limb by saying this lol.

Wait this isn’t Huey Newton?

Huey Newton? Thanks for the proof that we should never take anything you say seriously.
